Why is it so hard to mix Crush 40's version of His World?

EDIT: I was stupid enough to accidentally keep the spare track on the Audacity file while I was working on the mix.

Sonic 06 was my first experience with the blue blur. I know people have hated it over the years and over time I found out why. (Thankfully Boom rise of Lyric is worse) Nowadays I think we could look back at 06 and say that it isn’t THAT bad anymore.

The one obvious plot-hole in '06 is in Shadow's story. He couldn't be DESTINED to seal Mephiles 10 years before the plot of '06. Why? Shadow was in the stasis tube on Prison Island during that time. Another good point, also in Shadow's story. Silver gave Elise the blue Chaos Emerald, in Shadow's story, you can see the blue Chaos Emerald in Silver's hand.
