I was lucky enough to get away from one yesterday in Illinois. I saw it right in front of my eyes before it touched down, I jumped in the back seat to hold on to my toddler while my partner driving us out. The wind gusts were 42 and where we were at. If he give up right where it started, we would have lost ourselves to it. I couldn’t filmed it because I needed to protect my child. It really gave me teary eyes while I was watching it happening in front of me. I was praying while it’s happening. Thankful we’re alive.

why did yall change the color system implemented by the national weather service? lvl 2 danger is most definitely not a 'red'. Level 1 risk is green, 2 yellow, 3 starts to go red.
