Despite snowy Hogwarts looking absolutley gorgeous, this set is the first time in 24 years that LEGO has made a Hogwarts set featuring snow. The LEGO Harry Potter Hogwarts Castle Owlery marks the start of a new era of Hogwarts Castle modular sets, but is it worth investing into?

Holly as far as LEGO Harry Potter reviews go, you're still the GOAT. These new sets are great, I haven't been buying any Harry Potter for about 3 years but I think it's time. Time to wait for a sale.

I like this a lot more than the boathouse, and I agree that the snow looks amazing. I wish they'd do some more Hogwarts Castle sets covered in snow.
  • I absolutely adore the snowy details on this set and it’s just a beautiful model, I’ll definitely be picking this one up! Great video and I’m loving the new reviews so far!

my favourite part is the first floor at the top of the stairs which uses the bricks to make the face of an owl
  • I'm really enjoying seeing the fern pieces used as tree branches, I think it works really well.

I was trying to collect all of the harry potter sets, but after the 2021 change in the Castle system, I really lost interest. But I like this new system. I may try and get more. Although I just spent $400 on Gringotts to finish my Diagon Alley so, probably not right now lol!

I really hate the trend of LEGO buildings going from having 3 walls to now only two with a 90° angle. they did the same with the newer Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes

Holly please make a video combining the Owlery and the Boathouse with the 2018-2020 Hogwarts Line! I would love to see if they work together
  • If another two mini-figs were to be added, definitely another Ravenclaw girl , maybe a "spy" from Slytherin or even "Mad Eye Moody"!

This set is incredible in the sense of having multiple useful elements, like the new fern pieces in different colors and bricks that can be reused elsewhere (MOCS if you want). Also, Harry and Cho's casual attires are incredible, like the Dark-Red Owl and the little baby one. Solid set overall with a decent price (still wish it was 40€ instead of 45)
  • I really think they could have done it better. Quick thought : "windows are quite tall for the owl (sounds good...), they could have make them shorter and put another range, the building will even look taller.

Thanks for sharing your reviews love your channel And it’s so cool that you’re wearing a Harry Potter robe nice 😃❤️

its funny cuz Harry et Cho is Owlery in the 5th book, where is also Filch included. But here its obviously reference to the 4th movie where filch wasn't :D i think the fans can take it how they want. some

Now it is no longer the same three students in every set. I'm guessing Cho Chang will now regularly appear in the sets.
  • @zosterinski
They nailed cho chang. Clearly better than the previous version
  • I love this set and the review ❤ I agree that there should be 2 portraits included though, and maybe an obscure student/unnamed character would have completed the set
