What do McLovin, Stifler and Borat all have in common? They are all played by legendary actors who are no longer cast by Hollywood as much as they used to be. Why? This video will explore 7 actors who Hollywood Won't cast anymore, from Jim Carrey to Christopher Mintz-Plasse.

This is, Hollywood Won't Cast These 7 Actors Anymore. Why?

Thank you guys for watching, like and sub if you enjoyed, SunnyV2

Also, the idea for this video was inspired by Nicki Swift who posted a video on a similar topic in October 2017 titled "Why Hollywood Won't Cast These 12 Actors Anymore". You can watch their version here -    • Why Hollywood Won't Cast These 12 Act...

I don't think Jim Carrey really needs to do much more. He ended with a fun role in Sonic 2 and I don't think anyone will complain. He's got a really strong set of movies he's already been in, he really did put it best. He's done enough.
  • I will never forget Carrey's performance in The Truman Show. Mad respect to him for choosing what he wanted to do rather than just keep doing something he hates because money. Man's goated
  • "Hollywood Won't Cast These 7 Actors Anymore," proceeds to name actors that are still getting cast by Hollywood or left voluntarily

Tobey Maguire's performance in the film Brothers was truly remarkable. It showcased his exceptional acting abilities in a drama, leaving a lasting impression on me. His portrayal was so outstanding that it deserved recognition and accolades. Undoubtedly, this has completely altered my perception of his acting skills.

I think Jim Carrey’s story is a rare occurrence where it all ends up good in the end. I’m glad he’s happy with his career and I hope whatever he does with his art in the future goes very far!

    1) Seann William Scott does TV and film still 2) Christopher Mintz-Plasse splits time between music and acting 3) Carey retired 4) Maguire took more producing roles 5) Taylor Launtner has been on a tv show called Cuckoo 6) Cameron Diaz became a mum/entrepreneur 7) Cohen's last film won 2 golden globes and got nominated for 2 oscars? I'm sorry the title 'Hollywood won't cast these 7 actors anymore' is such a stretch

To be honest, Sasha Baron Cohen’s acting in “the spy” was breath taking. Amazing to see how well comedy actors do in serious rolls like Adam in uncut gems.

Taylor Lautner's early life during the twilight series and hyper-sexualization he experienced, as well as the outrageous body expectations for male heart throb actors could honestly be its own video.

I feel so bad for Taylor Laughtner. He didn’t even look that bad in the picture where people were saying “he let it all go”; just because he doesn’t have an 8-pack anymore doesn’t mean he “let it all go”
  • After you see Brothers, Toby Maguire really breaks through that issue. The man is a fantastic drama actor.

Tobey Maguire is actually one of the most underrated actors of all time.. his performances in great gatsby, pawn sacrifice and cider house rules are unbelievable and nothing like his roles in spiderman. Can’t forget his role in bothers too, some of the best acting in that movie I’ve ever seen. Definitely doesn’t have limitless range.

I dont ever blame a celebrity for hating paparazzi, they're some of the lowest of low.

Jim Carrey seems to be living the life that every actor dreams of living; star in countless iconic films and be a mainstay in Hollywood for almost 3 decades, then just take fun roles that you want to play while slipping into a quiet retirement. I’m sure if he wanted come back and take a lead role in a large production any director would cast him in a heartbeat, but he seems perfectly happy to just live the retired life.
  • Tobey Maguire was incredible in the movie “Brothers”. Honestly some of the best acting I’ve seen in a drama and should’ve won him some awards. Definitely changed my opinion on his acting skills.

Taylor Lautner definitely hasn't "let himself go" as much as this implies; he and his wife cameo'd on stage at a Taylor Swift Eras concert, and he did a spontaneous round-off backflip that was SUPER solid. Huge props to do that in shoes, on an unknown surface, in front of over 50,000 people live.

Jim Carry is one of a kind. It's hard for someone who can truly embody the caricature and wackiness of roles like his. Been a huge fan of him since I was young, and while I wish he continued acting, I'm glad he's doing great with canvas and painting.

Love your work Sunny, but I kinda miss the old format where you'd deep dive on 1 topic and there's more of a story. These lists feel like we're just skimming though what could each be an interesting video on its own. Still all love and still entertaining content!

mintz-plasse was in an episode of party down i think season 2, his character was a laid-back sci-fi screenwriter. i rewatched the series recently since the final season was released and it was actually really nice to see his cameo briefly in the show :)
  • I remember watching Sacha Baron Cohen in a Netflix series called "The Spy". Based on a true story, he nailed the role so much that I forgot that he's primarily a comedian and the one who starred in Borat for the remainder of the the series. Plus, Hollywood still casts him and the others too. You could've just titled the video "Why these actors aren't prominent in films anymore"
