9:18 - "It was as if switch to Unreal was going to solve everything." How many potential episodes of Wha Happun could basically be summed up with this one line?!
  • @dyldragon1
I feel like a common lesson that can be learned from most episodes of Wha Happun is to not change engines

"Overstar Killbreeze" sounds like the name of some kind of crazy sci-fi villian.
  • Good god, having to go through crunch THAT brutal just for a guaranteed failure... I hope to heck we see some serious game dev unions in our lifetime.

The real reason Ulf left was because Bo was the main driving force behind microtransactions being added to payday 2. The breakup was so drastic that no new voice lines for Ulf's character were ever added again, even in the final secret live action cutscene.

The most painful part of this is when you look through the game files, and see level after level that was never released, content developers poured their heart and soul into that will never see the light of day.

I literally had no idea this game even existed until now

Only thing going for it was those CG promo trailers, which you could tell, that's where a good chunk of the money went.

Haha, it's kinda freaky to be looking at this video a few years after working for Starbreeze and realizing you can see yourself sitting in the background in one of the shots... Takes me back.

5:42 love how Colonial Marines stood up for a second there 😂

"I don't have a crystal ball, but I do have the balls to announce a ten year plan for my unfinished mess of a video game because that worked out so well for Anthem and Destiny."

Lawbreakers/Radical Heights and the complete destruction of Boss Key Studios and Cliffy B for a wha happun?
  • @risktorise2103
A half dead company working a walking dead game seem like a match made in heaven
  • @xavier8951
How about Mighty No. 9 as a future episode?
  • @TheGunboat
I think it’s appropriate to visit the great granddaddy of all Wha Happun: the game that epitomized the foolish downfall of an entire industry: ET for the Atari 2600
  • @1000Master
You know what the real gut punch of this story is? After everything that happened with this game, Bo was quick to blame the developers for everything. SCREW. OFF.

I’d be interested in a Wha Happun on Brink. That game looked so good from the trailers, but was so lackluster on release. It’s sad how often that is the case these days :/
