  • I saw John Denver in concert at the Canadian National Exhibition in 1975. I was double dating with my room mate at the time and his girlfriend and her sister whom I did not know. That day was very special in so many ways. However, I began dating this girl named Janet who was five years my junior. The very first song I ever sung to her was Rocky Mountain High. We eventually got married in 1977. We will be married for 47 years this coming August and I owe everything to the fact that we attended that John Denver concert. I even sang Annie's Song for her at our wedding reception. God Bless John Denver.

As a 70-something, I still cherish my collection of his songs. Thanks for the memories.
  • I am glad I lived the same space in time, for a time as John Denver.. His music is so sincere.
  • I’m 65-year-old woman and I am crying after watching this. I sent it to as many people as I could possibly send it to. What a beautiful voice. I’m so glad that I was born during his incarnate life. Wow, his music so beautiful.

He left us much too soon and the country hasn't been the same since😢

John had not done a practice flight to familiarise himself with the new plane. It has been said that it was his lack of familiarity with the plane, that he found it difficult to locate the changeover switch for the second fuel tank. So he simply ran out of fuel which can happen. I loved his music and his public persona.

What a wonderful tribute to John Denver. Thanks! It hurts my heart that he had some sad times & struggled so much, but he gave so much of his heart, soul, & spirit to all those that still love the man he was, & the music he gave us so freely. His music will never die, & I will be singing & listening for the rest of my life. 💓🎸🎶🦋🐾🌿🌹✈️🐬🐴🦋💓 Thanks, John, you are the greatest singer, songwriter, guitarist, humanitarian, environmentalist & activist ever. "Though the singer be silent, there still is the truth of the song."

Tremendous! So happy❤😊 to see this. John Denver such an extraordinary spirit. I saw him live as my first concert and I had no idea what was going on back then. Vibrant uplifting person that he was impressed me then and I have never forgotten it. He made each audience member feel he was playing just for them. 🎉

John Denver's one of my all time faves. He was so gifted. The pureness of his voice was a rarity and still is; the heartfelt words in the lyrics of his beautiful ballads were really special. His music was REAL, not like so much of the over-produced, auto-tuned crap that we hear these days. We miss you JD. RIP ❤

John Denver holds a special place in my heart. Saw him live at the Coliseum in Ohio in the 70's with my then fiance. We were going to have Annie's Song played at our wedding. One thing led to another and we never married. I still get choked up when I hear that song. He also sang so many songs meaningful to me when I was showing horses in the '70's. I love his music to this day!!
  • I miss the music and I miss John. People called him chesseie but he sang from the heart. I only got to see him once ,but it was one of my favorite concerts of all time. I know he's in heaven and singing his songs and GOD is smiling and singing along like we all do when we hear his music.
  • I'm in my late 60's & I so loved his 🎶. So clean, encouraging, spiritual n beautiful. Bless him. "ISA"

Thanks for the upload, not sure how I stumbled upon it but really enjoyed it. Such a beautiful voice he has that I often listen to while I am gardening, and think of him in nature and the hills of Aspen. Thank you for sharing.
