About David Bowie:
David Bowie redefined musical genres and the potential of live performance for generations of music lovers. Creating and discarding a variety of personae and restlessly challenging musical boundaries, Bowie released timeless albums including Space Oddity, Hunky Dory, The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust…, Aladdin Sane, Diamond Dogs, Young Americans, Station to Station, "Heroes,” Let's Dance, Heathen, The Next Day and many more. Blackstar, Bowie’s 28th and final studio album, was released on his 69th birthday, January 8, 2016. David Bowie died on January 10, 2016, two days after the release of Blackstar. His body of work, his influence on the worlds of music, art, fashion, film, theatre and beyond, and his legacy of innovation and reinvention will live forever. 2022 kicks off with Bowie at 75, a celebration of his 75th birthday with the Brilliant Adventure box set, the previously unreleased Toy, the 50th anniversary of Ziggy Stardust and a series of special events.

I carry this song with me every day: I have “oh no love! You’re not alone!” tattooed on my left inner arm, and it’s in Bowie’s own handwriting. It covers scars that happened when I felt so alone. I LOVE all of the remastered songs; just got the album in the mail yesterday and it’s been on rotation since!

The normal live version has already brought me to my tears... this remastered one is going to make sure I drown in them

I was 17 years old in 1972 and my best friend (still) called me and said “There’s a concert tonight at the Santa Monica Civic ( auditorium) and the band is David Bowie and the Spiders from Mars!” I said “Let’s go”! We went and got 3 rd row seats… I wish 4:13 😊😊 there was some possible way to convey what we experienced that night. Mostly we just stared at the stage with our mouths open as we realized we were watching the most phenomenal performance that not only we had ever seen but would ever see. We almost truly thought he really was from Mars. We ended up going to many Bowie concerts over the next 40 years. We are lifelong fans. RIP
  • this song is absolutely amazing. the fact this song has saved so much people including I, is just crazy. i never thought thered be a singer that would be as unique as David bowie.

Let’s remember that at his age, with those songs, most artists/ singers would be at their peak , while he had over 40 years of even more brilliant songs ahead of time He is unique

Wow! I am a 67 year old white English male with four grandchildren, one of which is five years old and a girl and her name is BOWIE, that's how that man 'changed the world' for me because I influenced my daughter, because he influenced me and so it goes on.

So much talent in one man...Singer who acts, actor who sings, and not only that...Pure genius!
  • @Pawsnjaws123
Hats off here to the backing vocals and Mick Ronson... this band was perfect for Bowie at this particular time

I'd have given anything to be the person that successfully climbed onstage to hug Bowie, no matter how fleeting! True Bowie fans recognize his genius in writing, vocals, and arrangement. Every song is perfect, as is, Other than preservation, one should not change a single thing. You can't remaster a MASTER ARTIST!

Даже спустя 50 лет дает нам почувствовать, что мы не одиноки. И есть еще что-то искреннее, настоящее и человеческое в этом сумасшедшем мире. Спасибо, Дэвид ❤ ❤ ❤
  • One of the best songs ever written. Now I am going through one of the most difficult moments of my life and this song means a lot to me. I love David Bowie with all my heart, I am 24 years old and since I discovered his music 10 months ago I became addicted to cocaine like him. Today I have finally decided to cure myself of my addiction because I know: "Oh no, love, I'm not alone No matter what or who I've been No matter when or where I've seen All the knives seem to lacerate my brain I've had his share of him, He'll help me with the pain I'm not alone" Thank you so much David.

¿A cuántas personas nos habrá salvado de algo esta canción? Inevitable volver a ella de vez en cuando.
  • @FloydHaven
The thing about this song for me is that, from things Bowie’s said, he was lost in his addictions during this time. Maybe not at his bottom here but not too far away from it. Yet he manages to exude so much hope and create a life affirming song. If you’re struggling, never give up. There’s hope as long as you still live.
  • @s2owner
Certainly one of the best performers ever
  • @davidweaver4702
Oh lord, I remember every note of that performance. A night to remember for everyone who was at the Odean that night ❤

I’m 65. Bowie and Ronson where my favourite musicians back in the day. Remember thinking at the time, these artists know me and I was awestruck. Maybe it was the acid . . . . .
