This Philippines travel vlog is about our overnight staycation in Tagaytay. We stayed at Nordic Villas specifically the Nordic A Frame Villa.
Staycation Near Manila
Nordic A Frame Villa is technically located in Silang, Cavite but it is just 5 minutes away from the Tagaytay main road. It is an hour to 2 hour drive from Manila (depending on traffic). In our case, it took us an hour and a half drive from Taguig going to Nordic Villas on a Sunday.
Modern design and architecture
We’ve been to a number of A frame cabins in The Philippines and I should say that Nordic A Frame Villa has a modern design and architecture which makes it unique among other A frames. I personally love the glass portion at the facade of the villa.
Instagrammable Staycation in Tagaytay
If you are following this channel, we’ve tried one of Nordic Homes’ accommodation - The Joy tiny house and we really loved its the stylish and chic interior. And the Nordic A Villa did not disappoint as its interior is stylish and chic as well! Perfect for instagram worthy photos.
Tagaytay Staycation with Jacuzzi
It’s our first time to try a Tagaytay staycation that has a non-inflatable jacuzzi. And I should say that we really enjoyed it! Plus, it’s also a heated jacuzzi. Please watch the vlog for the rate if you want the jacuzzi to be heated.
Tagaytay Staycation with Pool
Apart from the jacuzzi, Nordic A Frame Villa also has a huge plunge pool and you can request it to be heated as well. This is another highlight of the Nordic A Frame Villa as the water in the pool really gets warm.
Kid and Senior-friendly Staycation in Tagaytay
The Nordic A Frame Villa is also kid friendly. The plunge pool is 3 feet if I’m not mistaken so it’s very safe for kids! If you are a senior citizen, the villa is also senior citizen-friendly as it is the nearest to the parking area and the villa has a room on the ground level.
Pet-friendly Tagaytay staycation
You can enjoy the villa with your furry friends as the place is pet-friendly!
Food
They don’t serve food except for breakfast. You can order your food via Grab as there’s a number of restaurants and fast food nearby. If you love cooking, the villa has complete kitchen amenities.
Things to do at Nordic A Frame Villa
If you are not visiting the tourist spots in Tagaytay and would simply stay at the villa, here are some of my recommended activities:

Maganda talaga dyan! We’ve been there September of last year but with a lower rate (siguro nag taas na sila ng rate) with our pet dog and ginagawa pa din yun extension parking nila. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
