I was taught that ripping the fabric on the crosswise green is one way to ensure that you get a straight line on the grain. I still do it to get my fabric straight before I cut with the rotary cutter.

Hi there! I get the same subscription boxes. The book that comes with the fabrics shows you what to do with the fabrics for that month and at the end of the year you will have enough blocks to make a entire quilt. 😊
  • Love ripping fabric 😅 it gives you the true straight of grain of the fabric. Love the fabric but I can't buy for now. Great video. Have a great week 😊
