Beetlejuice wouldn't have been nearly so fun without the genius of Mr. Belafonte. He was a treasure. Thank you sir ❤

My dad was a Greek immigrant who happened to be working as a cook at the hotel Harry was staying in when touring here in Australia in the 60s, and who also happened to be a big fan of Harry's. He asked one of the bellboys who was about to deliver the food my dad prepared for Harry, if he'd pass on the message that his cook was big fan of his, not expecting much to come of it. Not long after, the bellboy returns and says that Harry wanted to thank my dad for his kind words. He then hands my dad a picture and a tour book both personally signed by Harry. He then tops it off up saying that Harry would like him to have these 2 tickets for his show as a thank you. My dad passed away many years ago but I always remember him sharing this particular story with me when showing me the tour book and photos, and it made me fond of Harry ever since, and appreciate what a genuinely good hearted person he must have been.

They seriously need to get Wynona Ryder to recreate that scene as a Superbowl commercial!🤗😂😂

This Jamaican with a sprained hip and dislocated rib is dancing like no other right now!
-
This song rocks, because it's bouncy and upbeat at the same time. 👍🏼 if Beetlejuice brought you here. This song is part of the track listing for the Beetlejuice Original Motion Picture Soundtrack.
-
This song could technically go on forever if you just kept playing the chorus and no one would notice
-
How can you not think of Winona elevating and dancing??
-
Who’s ready for another Beetlejuice because I am! 🖐️👋🤘
