The male falsetto lead was excellent and iconic, but please do not ignore that amazing soprano at the background during the Verses and right after the 2nd Chorus - her high notes were angelic, effortless and top notch! Wonderful technique 👍👍

From my youth I pictured these artists as being of African descent, so shocked to find they are caucasian, doesn’t change anything, I just kind of feel we owe homage to to the original authors of this timeless masterpiece.

I am South African, and this song comes from us, but these guys voices. Wow. Love this version. I know there were royalty issues, but if not for these guys, this song would not be so famous and put us on the map

when i was a baby, my two uncles used to sing this to me to make me fall asleep. i sadly dont remember, but i can imagine them grinning ear to ear as they bop their heads and sing it to me :D

This was dad’s favourite song,when l was a kid and we were in the car we’d always turn the volume up on the radio when this song came on….this was back in the 60’s when it was really popular. Every time l hear it l think of my pop and singing along with the song,driving in the car probably going fishing together.lt’s a wonderful song with some priceless memories for me !
