The look of the NC has really grown on me, but damn the ND is absolutely beautiful
  • @cpt_stvn
I think another factor that influenced me to buy an NC over an ND was the fact that buying a cheaper NC you now have that extra money to upgrade.

The smile on Case’s face for the mountain drive segment said everything you need to know about the new Miata. Awesome car and great video. TY.

The NC looks like a Jaguar XK convertible shrunk to 65%. That’s a compliment . I bought a used 2010 this past April. I also have a 2016 Challenger Hellcat. The Miata puts smiles on face just as much as the Hellcat for different reasons. Just a super fun car to drive. .

I've owned every generation of Miata. If I could only have one, it would be an NC Miata. Thankfully I am able to own more than one, so I prefer to have my NA Miata that I've had for 18 years, and my ND2 that I've had for 5 years.
  • @jagger2001
The next generation Miata needs to have a hybridized turbo 4 cylinder, mounted behind the driver with a dual-clutch 9 speed. Just kidding it needs to stay exactly how it is
  • @zmarko
I'd like to see this race with a 2.5 swapped motor. Or even a K-swapped NC, like the guys at Speed Academy just did.
  • On the 7th of May 2024, I wrote a check for a soul red MX5 Miata RF GT well over 38K and gave my salesperson $100 tip, (first ever tip to a car salesperson) for humility and honesty. Visited the dealership once, in February and was sold on the process of the retractable roof operation. Never actually saw my car until I picked it up, wrote the check and drove the car home. The advanced electronics in the car is quite intimidating if someone is expecting simplicity. Fun to drive and nice to look at. Beautiful soul red color!

I just bought an ND2 (2020 Club) and I was originally going to buy an NC because of the price difference. I just couldn't find any good NCs in my area that I liked for the price. Too many of them were selling for $18-20k. I found some for less than that obviously but they were usually with high mileage. Ended up buying my 2020 Club RF for $27k, way over what I originally intended to spend. I love it! I agree that brand new ND3 Miatas are very pricey, but 2-4 year old used ND2s can be had for a good bargain. If I could have a 2nd Miata I would though, probably an NC2 that I would mod the heck out of.

I am not much of a Miata guy, I am more of truck or muscle car guy. However Kase and Tommy make about any video an interesting fun watch. I Enjoyed the video guys. Keep up the great work! Loved the drag racing , that’s always a lot fun.

I think you mean “Miata Is Always The Answer”…. It spells MIATA. 😉
  • @George0674
I've had a NA (vvt swapped) and now a NB (rotrex supercharged). I've rented both a NC PRHT and ND2 via Turo for a few days and hundreds of miles each and I can say you really can't go wrong with any gen Miata. My plan is to eventually replace the NB with a cheap ND2 once my other car is paid off.
  • @philguzman6932
    I spent my money on brand new(at the time) ND2. I've also owned 2 NA6 and 1 NA8.
  • Scored a like-new 2019 ND2 Club RF with 7k miles for $32k during the snowy months in Denver. Best car purchase I ever made and no vehicle has ever given me this much joy (it always turns heads and people regularly stop to give compliments or even give the right of way because they think it looks cool) 😂 With good tires, the 6-speed manual with hard top and heated seats make it perfectly liveable all 4 seasons. Used RFs sit on lots for great deals in snowy months because few think a tiny convertible can be enjoyed in the cold (they are sorely missing out). Zoom Zoom!

Suspension upgrades to the NC really transform the car. I had Ohlins coilovers on mine and they were fantastic. The Flyin Miata NC turbo kit that will be coming out looks good too.

I kept my 2012 NC2 PRHT after sitting in an Nd RC. No storage, smaller trunk and no headroom. Great little cars!
  • I like the design of the 2010 Miata way more than the new design. I really love the retractable hard top that can be found on some 2011 - 2015 models, that's what I would buy for myself.
  • @Ifitwerks
The move to direct injection and smaller inside put me off the ND, I managed to find a 2012 soft top NC and a 2012 PRHT NC both as new with less than 8K miles, couldn't decide which NC so bought both for $25K which is way less than 1 new ND Not regretted my decision at all.

Spectacular videography, men. Pleasure to watch! Great car!
