A huge plus for AppleTV is how easy it is to use an antenna indoor trainer with ZWIFT or Rouvy. Maybe not the detail and FPS as a high end gaming computer but you can be up and pedalling in less than 20 min.

I think you missed very important functions of this device. First is a smart home hub. Second is that this device will work for next 7 years with updates, not like tv where you will get one update in same year they produced tv and then they will introduce next system 😅. 3rd, you need to consider that All these things are working flawless there, you Can use a Phone to operate, AirPods are connected instantly. I have a projector and with Apple TV this is an amazing combonation that allow you to Watch and play games with your children with connected game pad

You missed out some key selling points here.. It’s also a smart home hub with newest technologies such as Thread & Matter that also allow it to seamlessly connect with third party devices with Google Assistant and Alexa - key selling point you missed out! Additionally Apple TV works with PS and Xbox controllers

I LOVE my Apple TV 4K (2022) box on my older Samsung tv that isn’t smart. It’s very fast, responsive, and I have everything apple!!!

I got the original Apple TV 3rd gen. Gonna get the new Apple TV 4k because the firestick 4k sucks and my “smart” LG tv is not connecting to the wifi

So if I pay the 70 dollar annual subscription does that give me access to all the nfl and nhl games live?

We have a 65" Toshiba Fire TV, it only has 4 gigs of ram and 100 Megabit ethernet so it won't hold all our apps and freezes all the time . We tried plugging in USB external memory which didn't work. So the Apple 4K TV with 128 GIGs of ram and Gigabit Ethernet was the best solution, it won't run out of memory and the Ethernet benchmarks at 960 Megabits.

Is this the newest model?

It converts high quality multichannel audio to lower quality on my remuxes. It's really a shame it doesn't have audio pass-through like the Nvidia Shield.

My new Samsung has such a bad interface I want to buy this for it, also want to use it for Zwift!
