Today we are in Hannover! The most unappreciated city in Germany. The only thing I knew about Hannover is that it sounds like hangover.

Even though it took 6 hours one way, it was definitely worth the journey. The hotel was so trendy filled with professional looking people, the weather was perfect for sight seeing and the food was out of this world.
Fun tip the first place we went to VietCuisine Hannover was so affordable for the portions you get. Highly recommend!

As a Hannoveranian I'm happy that you enjoyed it that much. Especially, cause it's not really known as a touristic city. Hope to see you again :)

I visited Hannover recently for work (from America), and this was my first time to Europe. I knew I would enjoy it, but I didn’t expect to enjoy it nearly as much as I did!! An absolutely beautiful city, and I can’t wait to go back!!
  • The production quality ( especially editing) is just top notch I don't know how this channel hasn't reached a million subs yet I want to visit hannover so bad rn

I'm from Hannover and I agree that it is totally underrated inside Germany! we have the most amazing parks and every neighborhood is so unique. You didn't visit Linden, which has mini-Berlin vibes, especially Kreutzberg and Friedrichshein. It's multiculti here and most university students live here I'd say. If you ever come back you should check it out :)

Whats also great about Hannover is its surrounding. In the near south there are already smaller mountains like the Deister and a bit more south is the Harz with its mythological legends about witches for larger backpacking and winter sports . really near to the west lies the biggest lake in northern germany, the steinhuder meer, one of the best kite and wind surfing spots for beginners in germany.and the region around hannover is great for biking. Hannover is so central that you can get to cologne, hamburg, berlin, frankfurt for day trips in around 2-3 hours.
  • Saw Hannover many times from the Flixbus window, didn't know it's so beautiful 🤩 Now I definitely want to visit

Recently i was a bit obsessed with Germany and then I found out your channel. I absolutely LOVED it, the way you explain the video like you're telling it as a friend :D and sure i like your editing! Thank you for sharing this cool contents ever <3
  • Daaang! You got sponsorship for this one?! Congrats! Love the video as usual, wish someday this turn into travel all around the world blog. Cool haircut btw!😉

This video was great, but to experience the real Hannover you need to go to the neighborhoods outside of the center, like nordstadt and linden ❤️ the cafes and thrift stores there are amazing. And then you’ll see why young people really love to live here. Also Viet Kafe was a great pick!!!

As a Hanover Tram, I can agree that this City is pretty underrated, before and after the Expo 2000, which is really sad.

Happily living here for over 8 years now, I am afraid you, like most of the tourists, missed going to Linden and stayed in the center most of the time. At least this is what the video suggests. A lot of people think of hannover as being very ugly and like there is not much going on to see. Linden is a part of hannover only 10 minutes away from the main station by tram and it is like a total different world for me. I rarely ever go to the city because everything is here. Culture & nightlife is very present for a long time now due to a reputation for artists and students alike + there is parks, rivers, different architecture everywhere. You could fill a full week easily only visiting new interesting & beautiful places every day by foot, not more than 15-20 minutes to walk 😎👍🏼 as you can see i really fell in love with this place, i highly recommend coming here if anyone wants to visit hannover - especially in summer its amazing 🤩 If someone wants a guided tour by a local for free hit me up. I always find great pleasure showing this to outside people!

  • @gusttps
The perfumes part hahah I love your videos, congrats for the sponsor! 🫶✨
  • … and next time you come at spring, we‘ll spend our time on the „Lindener Berg“ (Lindener Mountain) and look at the „blue wonder“ (Blaues Wunder). That‘s what we call it when the scilla-flower paints the whole mountain blue! Afterwards we Drink an original hanoverian boose. The „Lütje Lage“! But, few tourist manages to drink it - because it really is an art. Mostly they spill it on the shirt…. It‘s ok, it tastes anyway only the nativ!

If you ever return to Hanover, here are a few tips from a semi local nerd (I travel to Hanover to work and actually live around 1 hour away from the city): - Hanover has some insanely good boba stores, favorite so far is TeaMotion in the Ernst-August Galerie, but Hamy's in the Food court by the subway close to the Train station as well as Comebuy are good too. - There's definitely a lot of nerd stuff around with Elbenwald (Again Ernst-August Galerie), Comix and a lot more. Generally a good point to get stuff you wouldn't get somewhere else like certain manga, merch, ect. - As for food.... There's like a tons of different stores that are delicious, just try yourself through honestly Cheers!
