Love that Benji’s been on a Taiwanese noodle kick lately. I’m so glad to see you recreate the shallot oil as it’s super easy to make at home and most Taiwanese people have it on hand all the time for a quick meal. Also, kai dong means “let’s start eating” in Mandarin and the dong is pronounced more like the “don” in gyudon or udon. If you and your family enjoy the flavor of these sauces then you should def try to look into trying Taiwanese braised pork over rice (lu ruo fan)! So yummy.

Fish sauce fried chicken wings would be delicious with that! The texture of the crunch from the chicken would be over the top. Looks good!

Yum!! Would love to see you and Tiffy cooks do a collab or cook together, I don’t think she’s too far from you? I am obsessed with both of y’all’s cooking!!

LOVE tiffy cooks, the kai dong noodles & sauces. I want a large size jar of the sauces!!
  • I love fried onions. I like them kind of dark. I haven't made any fried onions lately, but I like to put the onions in flour sometimes, add salt and pepper and fry in olive oil. I have used coconut oil, but I like olive oil better. ❤❤❤

@Benji Travis You can try adding some chinese black vinegar or plum sauce you can get from chinese supermarket. It will help to level up the depth of the sauce.

That looks DEE-LISH, Beni!❤ I was wondering what type of noodles those are? I’m looking for them to make Danzai noodles—looks just like the ones in the Danzai noodle kit I found at Costco.

Less carbs.... More vegetables...I understand rice being a cultural option but how about cauliflower rice. Salad and protein stir fried vegetables roasted vegetables just vegetables. Protein.

Looks bomb! I was gonna ask what other kind of sauces or oils would u recommend but we can just make our own infuse oil and or soya sauce with what ever we like. What flavour combos would be good and will you make more sauces or oils?❤
  • @ajadegirl

  • @SueJuni
for you not to “cry” when cutting onions or shallots make sure to have a small bowl of water beside you
