“An Open Letter” was also cut from Hamilton. Lin said it made the cast feel better about other cuts they had to make, because he was willing to cut one of the best Alexander songs

"Dear Theodosia Reprise" was cut too because Lin said it might be too confusing for the audience since Burr's wife and daughter were both named Theodosia

If you're curious as to why they cut it from the play, from what I understand, Lin didn't want this song to detract from Helpless, Eliza's song, as it focused the anger on Angelica, so instead it was relegated to a few lines of the Reynold's Pamphlet.

Schuyler Defeated Workshop and Let It Go (no, not Frozen) are more cut Hamilton songs and I think you would like them! Let It Go comes right after Schuyler Defeated Workshop so it’d be good if you reacted to them together.

Congratulations is probably my favourite cut song. However, there was originally a "Dear Theodosia Reprise" that is so heart breaking and beautiful. They had Sara Bareilles perform it and it is beautiful, it had Lin-Manuel Miranda himself in tears. I understand I'm not early, but I'm still hoping you can see this comment and react to "Dear Theodosia Reprise."

There’s a playlist with all of Lin’s first drafts from Hamilton that you could react to. They’re all awful but it’s kinda funny. I’d especially recommend reacting to “This One’s Mine” (the first draft of Helpless) since that one’s especially bad and also really different. I’m just gonna apologize in advance for the pain your ears will go through but have fun😃

Sara Bareilles did a version of 'Dear Theodosia Reprise' on the official Hamilton Youtube channel, though the workshop version that you get with the animatics is much more heartbreaking. Weird Als 'Hamilton Polka' is also excellent, though might not give a lot to analyze.

Also for Ham4Ham they did an extended version of the Philip rap from take a break featuring the other Hamilton siblings and it’s absolutely fantastic if you want to give that a look as well.

We are getting rid of a guy from our lives for being unbelievably toxic, and we wrote letters explaining what he did and I rewrote the first verse of this to fit the letter and I do not regret, Angelica saves the day 😂✌🏻

I honestly love this song from Hamilton and I love the fact Rory couldn't resist joining in, there is a John Adams rap that Lin did that is amazing!!
