I have very dry eyes and also dry mouth . I was diagnosed with EBMD after having cataract surgery on my left eye . It was really painful , like I had a lot of sand in my eyes. I use Refresh gel drops . I love the Alaway preservative free drops also .They help a lot . But it still is painful at times . I had to wear the shield from the cataract surgery a few times as that eye was very sensitive to light . I also have drops for glaucoma. Thank you for this video . Very informative !

I was hoping to hear a mentioning of IRPL treatment (E-Eye) for meibomian gland stimulation. It's being marketed quite heavily at the moment, if you search for information about dry eye treatment - but there is very little objective information to be found. It's quite expensive and apparently works only temporary, but hey, even a year without dry eyes sounds really nice to me...

My eye Dr mentioned using Laser to treat rough surface of my cornea. Does that mean 9th the outer surface is damaged? He said it would grow back.
