Note that to get a friendship point from Pearl, you need to build a replica relic chair for pearl, get the sawhorse blueprint, build a sawhorse and then build a wooden chair. At the time I did this run, Klei had just introduced the sawhorse into the game so I didn't know what I was doing.

0:19 i am surprised Wormwood wasn't included at all. You can seriously massacre an entire horde if you are willing to spend a few stingers and living logs on bramble traps. Though, never, NEVER ever use the bramble husk against frogs.

Ok I also want to point out that the reason webber has his control items and wurt doesnt is because spiders don't behave - Merms will spend all day and night outside and awake, so you don't need a whistle. And you can make them gang up on a merm to obtain a fish with which to dismiss them. Webber's items exist because spiders have behaviour that results in shortcomings, while merms either don't have the same issue, or have alternative and often more convinient means to achieve the same effect.
