Munja is cursed soul believed to be temporary or permanent being on this earth realms and some people consider it as a Maharashtrian urban folk lord or some people genuinely believe in them because of their stories and rumours surrounding the munja . Munja is a basically young child who dies before his thread ceremony (thread ceremony is a Indian ritual where the Hindu priest child get his honour as a priest child and it's a ritual which perform under 15 years old child so basically it's specific caste like Brahmin gets its priesthood by performing this thread ceremony ) it's believe in Maharashtra that if a child dies after his thread ceremony or before some days of beginning of pre thread ceremony or post thread ceremony he becomes munja. So all the story of this movie is based on this folk lord and whispering rumours and stories in urban legend in the rural and country sides of Maharashtra
