Yes. In Konkan, there is a ritual done when a Brahmin child is 8-10 yrs old that is called 'Munja' i.e by making him bald n other prayers. After munja there has to be a 'sod munja' ritual by his marriage. So, if any kid dies after his munja he is said to be as 'Munjya'. Mostly residing on Peepal tree. You can search there are alot of experience of ppl with munjya possession.
