This is the 2019 Chevrolet Camaro 1LT 1LE RS. Aesthetically a camaro, but a slightly controversial situation under the hood. 4 Cylinders, instead of the exalted 8. But this one has the 1LE track package, so it gets a bunch of goodies from the trims above. James and Thomas jump behind the wheel to see what its really like. Because at $36,000 CAD, it seems like a surprising amount of car. Watch and enjoy. SUBSCRIBE!

  • OH MY GOD....Thank you for knowing the difference between turbo threshold and lag. It is so annoying when car reviewers don't know the difference.

I test drove one of these a month ago in the rain and I absolutely loved it! Ik I’d get hate for not choosing the V8 but I thoroughly enjoyed my drive and would very much consider getting one. Not many ppl will be able to realistically use the over 400HP in an SS on roads without getting in trouble so this is a great middle weight option for American muscle cars

That intro..... Y'all some fools! Love it!

One of the most under-estimated Camaros ever built. A great review that really gets down to the nitty-gritty on this trim option!

I don’t know if you realized this yet, but your Camaro is missing 4 cylinders.

Loving these Camaro vids. I bought a 2.0t last September and absolutely LOVE it. I did a test drive in the 4 cyl, v6, and v8 and the 2.0t was a no brainer. Don't get me wrong - the SS was the most fun to drive. The v6 sucked - has less torque than the 2.0t and I felt like my v6 honda accord could run laps around it. I tested the 2.0t last.... I was sold as soon as I put the pedal down. Not only did I save over $10k compared to the price of the SS, I'm continuing to save on gas (34mph avg highway on cruise, 22 avg in city... and that's because I have a heavy foot) and reduced maintenance costs over time. The 2.0t is an excellent daily driver and a hell of a lot of fun when you can let her open up. 0-60 time blows my mind. Even when you reach 100mph she's still begging for more... couldn't be happier with my purchase.

Pretty sure the RS stands for Rally Sport, but I did enjoy the "Really Slow" meaning as well! haha
  • I really enjoyed the way you review cars with a little bit of humour and some down to earth talk about what you’re driving
  • @Vizzerlp
I love you for doing so much tests with the Camaro! Please don't stop🔥
  • I **LOVE** your intros. I haven't even watched the rest of the video yet, but I had to say that. They are genius. I just don't even understand how you constantly have such clever, well executed new ideas. How do you not run out of ideas? How??? Incredible job. Okay, now to actually watch the rest of the video :D

About time someone reviewed this specific model of Camaro. Good job guys. And yes, please do a track battle with this, the BRZ track spec model and the Focus ST. That would be great and would get tone of views. No k e track battled the 1LT 1 LE 2.0 against anything. Cheers and hello from Seattle.
  • @nigel_white
The 1LT 1LE doesn't have adjustable dampers. So changing the drive mode does nothing for the ride quality. It only changes the steering weight.
  • @Cedrickr
considering I'm taking ownership of my 4-cyl, riverside blue RS Camaro tonight, this video makes me feel better about my choice
  • @96kylar
Track battle !!!?!! Well done again gents. Keep up the great work/vids.
  • @LV426CX1
On the 2017 and later manual Camaros, you can do no lift or power shifting, the transmissions have an algorithm supporting that, doing that at WOT will keep the car in boost and greatly improve response and acceleration.
  • I'd rather it be quiet then have some stupid artificial sound through the speakers
  • @Me-eb3wv
Going to be honest, a v4/v6 Camaro is the best bang for your buck if you want a fun sports car. They’re the most affordable Compared to everything else on the market.
