I am going to comment this to all rosacea topics: do a blood work, especially looking for markers of diseases that run in your family, check your food intolerances etc. I had eczema all on my body, the dermatologists gave me creams which only worked for a while. Turned out I have dairy intolerance. I cut it back for a year completely and my eczema dissappeared. I have had rosacea in the last 5-6 years. They told me to do laser treatment. I did a bloodwork, and finally know I have insulin resistance. First step towards diabetes. Instant cause for rosacea. No laser treatment, pills, creams will solve this problem. But I can change my diet. Much less harmful. It is easier to prescribe sth...

I'm really happy that I found an honest dermatologist in YouTube that makes the complicated skincare world much more simple and clear. I have combination skin and I mainly struggle with hyperpigmentation and acne (along side with blackheads, whiteheads, logged pores, etc). You already did a video for acne which was so useful and educational. You explained the problem so well and gave a list of solutions to it with explanation which I really loved. Kindly make another video for hyperpigmentation too if possible. I really need your help on that.

My rosacea was caused by SIBO (small intestine bacteria overgrowth) and I cured it by taking a course of penicillin and I also quit eating coconut yogurt and quit taking a probiotic capsule everyday. My SIBO was caused by taking a probiotic capsule every morning on an empty stomach followed by a generous helping of unsweetened coconut yogurt with fruit and psyllium added. I never thought one could have too much bacteria in one's gut but I did.

I had 3 IPL treatments. They charged $250 each or 3 for $600 (Ontario Canada). I am less than two weeks out from my final treatment and I can't believe how much better my skin looks!
