I never thought I'd admit this given my historical disdain for Michael Ennis when he was a player but I found him to be the most rational and eloquent speaker on this panel.

As a Queenslander these NSW post mortems are hilarious and enjoyable to watch.

Jesus full credit to the three other blokes, the fact they don't just fall asleep whenever buzz starts dribbling is a miracle and needs to be hailed.

The disloyalty in the blues cost them. Forget about Addo carr. Wighton loses his spot to Matt burton. Qld sticks to their team win or lose. After the smashing in game 2, billy said was asked if he will make changes. He said no, this is our team. That’s what won it. Loyalty.

How did they not talk about Talakai's disaster of a performance?
  • @WTC-1990
Latrell made a great decision not to play cause he would of surely got blamed for this loss

Luai was on the side line holding his jbl speaker 🤣 saying lessgo

As a Qld'er I can say we were REALLY happy Freddy left it so late to bring Cook on, I think his dummy-half running could have sliced through our tired forwards midway through 2nd half.
  • Rugby League at its rawest and best. A kick back to the 70s and 80s. Great game of footy. Very well played both teams. Anabsolute gem to watch. Thankyou.

QLD has the formula. Head coach who is a man manager and the players love, assistant is a technical coach and legends galore involved in camp. Then they pick Origin players regardless of club form.

Queensland were the better side, you can say they had more Passion, wanted it More but Queensland were the better side...just ask Freddy The Game itself is one of the Best Games I've ever seen...Fast, Ferocious, Competitive that's Origin...both Teams were playing for their State Congrats to All that put on their Respective Jersey's ... bring on 2023

Someone has to hold Freddy accountable since he refuses to do it himself too, every time his team loses he finds some excuse rather than owning the result. That loser mentality looks to have seeped into his players
  • As a English rugby league fan I watched game 3 with my mouth wide open it was rugby at a different level You four need to stop your squabbling and realise how lucky you are to have these games

I honestly don't know what everyone is on about.. The Gane from Kick off to the final hooter was straight up brute intense and on the edge of your seat footy.. The passion was their from both teams. US mighty Queensladers.. Just wanted it more.. A GAME THAT WILL GO DOWN IN HISTORY AS ONE OF THE GREATEST..

Harden up Buzz that "whack" was at his knee level, Burton fell into it, a penalty sure but there's little if anything Tino can do there he aimed for his hip and hit his head. And the headlock actually protected Burton from getting absolutely spanked by Gagai. Saying it's a low act has to be one of the dumbest snowflake takes of all time, anyone with half a shred of decency is going to help their mate in a fight. He didn't throw any punches, he actually protected Burton by doing what he did. How that's a "low act" is absolutely beyond me.

I am an outsider and watching QLD play last night reminds me of the Australian cricket team in 90s and 2000s with somuch passion and beliefs and they supported each other. On the other side NSW reminded me of the indian cricket team where they are good on paper but cant produce it on the field.

I'm a QLDer but I don't think NSW were that poor. Before Cleary chipped into Hunt they were only 4 points down. NSW absorbed so much pressure on their own try line but only let QLD in once in the second half until the chip kick. QLD got lucky with a few individual NSW errors when the QLD errors weren't that costly. But the Lang Park crowd has to be given it's credit. It is worth at least 6-10 points.
  • @Opeth221
8 out of the 17 Blues players don't even identify with being Australian, let alone NSW. There will obviously be a lack of passion. If Origin didn't pay so well, they wouldn't put their hand up to play.
  • Not surprised in the result. QLD have a belief in themselves that NSW seem to lack. That is the best thing I can think of & I follow NSW.
