I started dating a beautiful girl with bipolar disorder, and I'm so glad I found this channel! It helps me know what she goes through and how to communicate with her.
  • Im coming out of a depressive cycle myself. 1 thing I often think about when they start is how I try to chase the mania and I start thinking about how that effects me. On top of that my anxiety plays a huge role in my mood swings as well as my mood swings effecting my anxiety. I still manage pretty well and I think I kinda make it look easy to others. But thats partly because I do what I can to hide it if I can and sometimes I just kinda shut out and take a break until I feel better. People dont see the internal struggle nor how I am when I am alone. It took me many years just to get my family to understand that this is a real condition and that I am not just faking or being lazy or on drugs

I’ve got Bipolar 1, ultra ultra rapid cycling, I go from manic to depressive, both, and in between every couple hours, it’s led to some terrible decisions and immense pain for both me and others that have been/are in my life. I’m trying to get into therapy at the moment, but i’m on Latuda (antipsychotic) that’s helping, but there is still so much work to do, in the meantime your channel has been helping me significantly with some of the basic CBT you’ve covered, meditation, and other strategies in your videos. I can’t stress enough how much I appreciate everything you do to help the bipolar community, I’m so glad i found your channel, thank you!

I'm currently been assessed at the moment. 25 years I've never known what was wrong with me. Last year a friend said he thought I might be Bi-Polar, now I'm on that journey of discovery. It is a relief to finally get help and this channel has given me so much hope and understanding. Thank you.

I cleaned my kitchen and dining room threw a lot away while I was manic. My mom keeps asking me if I have done anymore she didn’t realize I was manic. After an episode I come crashing down. I’m grateful for your channel and knowing I’m not alone.
