*UPDATE* Amani sadly passed on 21/02/22 after a 22month battle with Glioblastoma brain cancer at just 23yrs old. Tom Parker passed just 6weeks later.
On 27th April 2021, Tom Parker came to visit Amani to film for his documentary 'Tom Parker: Inside My Head''. Unfortunately these scenes did not make the final cut due to timing constraints. But Channel 4 were kind enough to send us the footage so that we could share it separately.

We were honoured to welcome Tom Parker into our home as our special guest. It was a lovely day spent mostly laughing and joking despite the fact that they were meeting because they both belong to a club noone wants to be a part of.
Tom Parker was diagnosed with Glioblastoma Multiforme Grade 4 in October 2020. Amani was diagnosed with the same disease in May 2020 and due to her mutation was given a chilling prognosis of 12-18months.

So sad to know, watching this, Tom and Amani are now no longer around. They seemed likely lovely genuine souls. Something for all of us to reflect on. May Allah grant them both a beautiful place in paradise. Ameen 🙏

Amani and Tom literally died 1 month apart. So Sad! I just came across this beautiful video and their podcast.

Amani was so beautiful, intelligent, brave, determined, kind and funny. My heart aches for her family. She (and her family) fought so hard. We owe it to Amani, Tom and others like them to continue their fight for more funding for brain cancer research. My thoughts are with Amani’s family. You are such lovely people and you have suffered and lost so much. But, how lucky you were to have her in your lives. Amani and Tom, we won’t ever forget you. xox

Heart breaking May God look after them and let them joke around in Heaven. Truely the most inspirational characters. Their souls were so strong and not weak. Inna lillahi wa inna illayhi rajioon.
