The choir from South Africa was so inspired by Nightbirde's story, and her song "It's Ok" that they chose to cover it. The beautiful tribute left everyone emotional, and for the first time in AGT history the Golden Buzzer was awarded by the audience!

Nightbirde said, “You can’t wait until life isn’t hard anymore before you decide to be happy.” Her song is very meaningful to everyone from the bottom of our hearts. And they deserve to get not only the group golden buzzer, but also everyone’s golden buzzer.

It’s like Nightbirde came back to the stage as an angel dressed in white to say hi and let Simon, the judges and the whole world know that she’s okay. She is not in pain and she’s singing with absolute joy and freedom now.❤

Simon pushed the buzzer for Nightbirdie and now he made the world push this for her. It’s amazing and beautiful tribute.

This just goes to show the power of Nightbirde’s music! She is the ONLY previous contestant whose music was covered by another contestant. Well deserved Golden Buzzer!

Nightbirde just got her second Golden Buzzer. Her legacy continues. Such an inspiration.
  • As a South African from Johannesburg, I know this choir and how talented they are, but I didn’t know that they we’re entering AGT. When I saw them appeared on stage, I knew that they would not disappoint but I wasn’t ready for this kind of tribute that left me in tears. Well done to them and I’m so proud.
