always felt Gardemister was underrated in this era, besides the Ford year he always seemed to be in bad factory teams like Seat or Skoda

Close season finish by Sebastian Loeb who defeated Marcus Gronholm Ford Focus in 2007 December Wales Rally Great Britain Grand Finale who is expected to win his last rally following his retirement and his luck would run out again for Gronholm

It felt a bit light in terms of cars/constructors in '07, given the embarrassment of riches we had previously, but I'd love it if these sorts of cars were racing today. Or, just abandon all the rules, and let drivers have whatever they like.... a Nissan GT-R going at full chat on spikes in Scandinavian rallies would be something to behold!!! (What a great set of drivers '07 had!!! If Toni Gardemeister has to run as a "privateer", the works guys are at a high level!)
  • I never understood why the lower private teams were considered manufacturers in the manufacturers championship. There were only 3 teams that were manufacturers (Ford , Citroen and Subaru). Stobart , Kronos etc were customer teams. Perhaps the naming of it could have been better eg team championship rather than manufacturers

Sure, the lost points from the crashes cost Gronholm the title, but so did the windows not being half a mm thicker in Portugal 🤏

Y'know what makes me angry abt this season?? It's when they don't mourn the death of the legendary Colin McRae, They just left in the dust, when did they find out that Colin died?? Repent you, people!! 😡 Same case with Richard Burns, they mourned Micheal Park's passing, but not Richard?? I'm glad that DirtFish made a tribute for him, just like how Top Gear made one for Burns.
