Damn guys my bad for mistaking victorian era with prince 😭 unfortunately i’m not really knowledgeable in his stuff which was the reason of my misinterpretation, thank you all for noticing that mistake! Imma use that for future videos 👀

Also, Rick Prime was the best. He was the ONLY Rick to create portal travel and then gave it to every other Rick and to create chaos. When C-137 rejected Prime and had his family killed he became the only other Rick to create portal travel on his own. C-137 became just as great as Prime, just in a different way

Evil Morty doesn't live in the central finite curve he lives outside it and Ricks device was creating shockwaves outside the central finite curve affecting Evil Morty's paradise

I just realized, Rick Prime killed both Dianne and Beth, then he created a device that erase Dianne in all infinity but kept beth. Interesting.

I really think that this was one of the most straighforward episodes so far story-wise, like constant flow of answers and conclusions, evil morty backstory, prime rick capture and defeat, info about ricks wife being killed in all realities, all in one single mid season episode. I know that the show is renewed for a couple of seasons more or something, but while watching that episode i had that unexplained feeling that this is the last season of rick and morty, and the names of the last two episodes seem a bit serious as well.
  • I think one conclusion that can be drawn from both Prime and Our Rick, Prime is the most psychopathic of the ricks, he murderd his wife across all of time and space. While leaving Beth alive so all the Ricks still had someone to care about, and would just stew in their misery; Our Rick is the most willingfully redeemable of all the Ricks, Where all the Ricks built a citadel, so the only people they would ever need to deal with is themselves and their Mortys. A large part of his Arc is that, despite how replaceable everyone else ultimately is, He started building deep connections, He's built relationships with alot of people. The President, His Therapist, The Random Alien that used his toilet, Space Beth, Normal Beth, Summer, Fuckin Jerry. He is a Rick that hasn't given up on finding meaning; Where all other versions of him have completely given up and live an existence where they do whatever because the can. That is his Arc, is learning to move on and give meaning to the things and people in front of him. Be it the best toilet experience in all of existence, or his disapproval of his therapist seeing his friend the president. Both Ricks are two extremes of each other.

The only Rick and morty channel that’s straight to the point with no loud obnoxious edits.

Evil Morty isn't evil, he just hates Rick and what he did to him and the Universes. This Rick is different, that's why he stated that he was OK at the end of the episode

In the flashback, the Rick's only saw the Mortys as stupid idiots, not capable of such crimes. That was why he was escorted away, believing him to be a dumb idiot.

That wasn't a Victorian universe, that was a universe where everyone was dressed like Prince
  • Well at the end of the episode, it is heavily implied that revenge is not the answer, but rather finding love again (implied by slow möbius wife). Even though Rick has been rejected by every girl he tries to get with, I believe that he will finally learn to love his family and fully accept them as his own. Rick will try to accept the fact that he’s never going to have his original family back and move on (it was also implied in S6 E1 with Cronenberg Jerry). Or Rick is going to try and find Evil Morty, so he can get some info about the weapon plans. I mean if there is a machine that can annihilate a person then surely he can build a machine that can undo it. Then it will either not work and wreck havoc or it will work, but Dianne won’t be or act the same.

Evil Mortys comment about Rick Prime makes sense when you think about it like this. Rick C-137 claims Rick Prime is "The worst Rick", and Evil Mortys response is "The worst turd is a Pizza". His point is that the worst Turd would be something that isn't a Turd. Rick Prime would therefore be the Best Rick as he is still a Turd, like the rest of them. All Ricks are equally shitty in his eyes. You can claim one smells worse than the other, but shit is still shit.

It's "the scientist formerly known as Rick" and it's a parody of the musical artist Prince (who changed his name to a symbol so people referred to him as "the artist formerly known as Prince)--he also looks exactly like Prince. It's got nothing to do with the Victorian era. Also the family that discovers portal travel is The Jetsons, an old cartoon from the 60s.

the fact that c137 rick appear to be smarter than other rick besides rick prime, give rick rick prime a valid point when he said "you would've been me, i just walked into your garage before you walked into mine"
  • It's now time for Rick's biggest challenge. Facing greif and accepting his wife is gone

Really enjoyed this review over others because you just told the story elements where others would weave in all the pop culture references on the episode which took away from me grasping the narrative. Thanks Lonny.

season 1 episode 1 Rick says "100 years Rick and Morty" so that means Evil Mortys flashback was during S1 E1 time frame. Thats mind blowing great job Dan

Rick Prime's hubris could be seen in the scene, where Evil Morty was scrubbing his brain of Omega Device data: He was speaking to him like any regular Rick would speak to Morty, with disdain, thinking that Morty is just too retarded to comprehend even the most basic Rick's invention. He basically underestimated everyone else, as he considered himself a god. Not unlikely to other Ricks, as they also have overinflated ego, but Prime was special case. This also makes me think that Rick Prime, and Evil Morty are different stages of the same cycle. Underdogs getting out of their original confinement by taking the control on the first opportunity. But while Prime wanted to make Ricks gods in their secluded part of the multiverse (I still think that making of the Citadel was his plan all along), Evil Morty just wanted some peace and quiet. That's why he wasn't travelling between dimensions, giving his tech to the smartest Mortys, to do what he's done. So in fact, he broke the cycle in some way.

If they’re going to put a new villain, I would like them to add doofus Jerry and make him the main antagonist of the next season. That would be pretty amazing.
