Not gonna lie: I had no idea 60 Minutes was still so relevant, but dang, they’re doing some in-depth and really great modern reporting. Thanks, algorithm!

I wish that the destructive leaders of our world would sit back for a moment and realise what a wonderful warm, wet hug we live on. If only we could put into improving our world as we put into destroying it and ourselves, what a wonderful world this would be.

I had a job with Rockwell International in Seal Beach as a satellite technician. I was told I had a job for life. The first shuttle blew up, and it took my condo in Huntington Beach with it. I was saddened by the loss of my beautiful condo overlooking the marina. I have never had the opportunity to own such a property again. Now those properties are going for $600,000 or more. It was a lesson to me that you must own a sustainable source of income first before buying any properties. I, in later life, became homeless, and almost died twice in 2020. I am in a much better place now and preparing for a better future, but it is so hard. I feel sad for those who lost their jobs and failed, but it is what life is made of. Life is not without its challenges, and that is what makes it worth living. Those who overcome, understand what true success is.

60 minutes space marathon? You don't have to ask me twice

I had to do a double take at the "60 minutes marathon" title, seeing that the video is more than 3 hours!! Thank you!! My Sunday is set!! 🍿

I remember watching the launch of the James Webb with my son who loves everything space. And again, when it needed to shield itself from the suns heat (which was amazing in itself to hear how they managed that), eagerly waiting to see if it unfolded correctly. All of that. Iike many we knew JW would most likely change many things we thought we knew, and help us learn so much more. And ever since then, the photos and information received has been amazing!!! If you haven't looked up James Webbs photos and the information its sent back thats been interrupted, just thus far, i highly recommend. Its beautiful and wildly interesting. History in the making!

33 billion light years away.... for those who dont know. A light year is the amount of time light will travel in one year. Light travels at close to 670,000,000 miles per hour... so when you think about how far light goes in 1 year... its almost unfathomable how far away 33 billion light years is...

This is why our big brother Jupiter is very important to us, hes always saving and bailing his little sister out.❤❤❤

I was working at a manufacturing company in that made several shuttle parts back in the day. Ill be 70 this year, and that was a high point in my 50 year career. Certainly was a sad time when the shuttle program was shut down.
