Israel called Saturday's attack on a soccer field the deadliest attack on civilians since October 7. On Sunday, the IDF identified the children and teens killed in the rocket strike, the youngest just 10 years old. Israel launched its own attack in retaliation against Hezbollah, and there is growing concern of a broader regional war and derailment of ceasefire.

    The Golan Heights is under Israel Sovereignty- not occupied territory...so fact checking should be important in reporting news? And even if it was in an area of disputed territory, is calling it occupied when naming the location to belittle empathy for the children's lives? They were targeting children playing in a playground.

    Yes first week of war with hezbollah is very scary even though israel will win they have 150k missiles and thats crazy damage. Also 10 months is too long for northern residents to be displaced and have to complete the Hezbollah war at some time. Even if they stopped firing the northern residents cant return with hezbollah on the border threatening oct 7 style attack.

    On thumbnail it says 'ceasefire derailed?' I hope you don't mesn permanent ceasefire because that wasnt on the table in gaza and wont be on the table in future.
