NOW THIS IS A PROPER FNAF TUNE!!!!!
  • I really really love how the lyrics point back to some of Nate's past Fnaf songs. It's really nice to catch snippets of songs like Nightmare and Home as Nate makes his final Fnaf songs. I can already tell the entire Scrap Heap album is going to be spectacular. Can't wait for the release!

Nightmare was the first song that made me realize how awesome FNAF songs could be when written from the narrative perspective, not just the monsters and the horror. Home is one, if not my all time favorite to this day. The piano, the lyrics, everything about it is so well produced. So many songs that I still hear and will continue to hear, not only for the nostalgia in them, but for the message and the worlds inside each one. And, at The Finale, after being here since the start of this road, I think you are right... I think there's nothing left to want.
  • I know a lot of people aren't a fan of the heavier songs on the album but i personally love them. it's not common for nate to do heavy stuff like this yet he still pulls it off so well. If he does ever dive into making original music Im hoping for some more metalcore. id love to see nate experiment with this kind of sound more.
  • Lyrics: Now I'm afraid you've been misinformed I know you've suffered but it's time to be reborn I've heard myself And now I'll practice the words that I preach It's so close but somehow out of reach All my life, I've debated But our connection is terminated And once the smoke has cleared I'll be waiting, for all of you again, on the other side Now it's a new day, And now's your time to shine The entertainment's enough to ease your mind Don't mind the voices you hear inside your head Don't mind the monsters that hide beneath your bed Don't wanna regret the message sent But it's what you said in the end (What you said in the end) Will you free me? Unbound my hands? Then I'll wave farewell, singing "See you around, my friend" (See you around, my friend) Oh! So what do you think you make me out to be? Some kind of monster you only see in your dreams? But when it's dark out they'll rise and roam about Is this the end, or will they always hunt us down? It's time to wake up 'cause soon you'll be set free And by then, there's nothing left to want from me How I hate how I can't even recognize your smile anymore! (Side!) Now it's a new day, And now's your time to shine The entertainment's enough to ease your mind Don't mind the voices you hear inside your head Don't mind the monsters that hide beneath your bed Don't wanna regret the message sent But it's what you said in the end (What you said in the end) Will you free me? Unbound my hands? Then I'll wave farewell, singing "See you around, my friend" Go! Now in the back of my mind, didn't know what I'd find But I found out I was the monster this whole time (The monster this whole time) (Now it's a new day, And now's your time to shine) (The entertainment's enough to ease your mind) Don't mind the voices you hear inside your head Don't mind the monsters that hide beneath your bed Don't wanna regret the message sent But it's what you said in the end (What you said in the end) Will you free me? Unbound my hands? Then I'll wave farewell, singing "See you around, my friend" There's nothing There's nothing left to want

The thing is, it WAS enough to ease our minds... See you around, Nate. I'll for sure be missing your amazing vocals and lyrics.
  • Nate might be done making dope ass anime and fandom songs, but that doesn't mean we will forget him!
  • I love how fresh and new these lyrics are. They’re not like any of his other FNAF songs. The breakdowns are insane. The vocals are bananas. I’m living for this. Can’t wait to get my signed CD 🔥
  • Let's re-phrase this- this is gonna be the heaviest album of Nates. Can't wait to hear the rest!
  • @LightningNerd
Not only is it a great song, but sounds like a farewell. A fitting end to this era. Thanks for the memories, Nate.
  • @Bimbi_AlForno
SO NOBODY’S GONNA TALK ABOUT THE QUALITY OF THE ANIMATION AND ALL THE DETAILS
  • @jetshaler
I just realized this title is in itself a callback to "What You Want", how many references can one man put into his music
  • @SilvaHope
I'm so crying with joy rn, haven't heard you shout in a while! SICK lyrics as always! Thank you for being part of these fansongs, Nate! Also Zack, thank you for the great graphic for Nate song as always!
  • Your music helped me get through a really rough patch in my life earlier this year. So, i wanted to say "thank you" Nate! Keep on rocking, man!
  • This song has some major "This is the End" vibes from back-in-the-day. The screamo actually pairs really well with the melodic chorus. It's baffling this song has only 200k views, when "Nothing to Me" has nearly a million (don't get me wrong, that song is good too, but this one is REALLY good). Also, the visuals here are so cool like holy hell.
  • @zayamoone
I was NOT expecting another FNaF song and I'm not disappointed, the FNaF 6 ending references at the beginning and the subtle song callbacks throughout are soo nice
  • So my best guess is that this song is mostly about henry, given the fnaf 6 references. This song and Always Come Back seem to be two half’s of one conversation, Always Come Back is obviously William while this is Henry’s side of it. Specifically “what you think to make me out to be” feels like a refutation of the “you’re the one who sparked these flames” from always come back, for example. I think “don’t you dare say I’m to blame, your the one who sparked these flames” is William blaming henry for all of this obviously. Specifically, I could see it that after the Crying Child died, henry tried to comfort William, but William saw it as disingenuous or even mocking because henry doesn’t know what it’s like to lose a child, leading to William killing Charlie out of that frustration and kicking this whole thing off. Meanwhile, “what you make me out to be, some kind of monster you only see in your dreams” is henry basically saying that in truth all Henry was doing was trying to comfort his friend and that was twisted by william’s own psyche. William started this in his own madness and dragged henry down with him.
  • I noticed an interesting difference between the tone/feeling of this song and Leave Me Behind, likely polarizing views on Nate's decision to withdraw from making fandom music. Unlike with that song, this one feels more upbeat, possibly telling any other musicians on the channel to take inspiration and that he'll possibly return someday. "Don't mind the monsters under your bed" works great as a double-meaning being paired with FNAF4, because the pressure of making songs could be scary but also lead to intense inspiration. As for having "Nothing Left To Want," Nate feels satisfied ending it off like this, with a majority of the songs being based on the fandom that started his rapid increase in fame. If you're reading this, Nate, just know I'm satisfied with everything you've done for me and many others. You've made amazing fandom songs these past 10 years, and I look forward to seeing any potential originals next year and beyond!
