■ Max Verstappen’s Hungarian GP didn’t go in the best possible way, as the 3-time world champion has let his emotions be known to the entire F1 world throughout the radio messages as well as the post-race conference. However, some of these messages are quite concerning now that Verstappen doesn’t have the fastest car on the grid and there are indications that he could revert to the pre-championship-winning era, where he couldn’t care less about other drivers as long as he was ahead. So, with this in mind, could we see even more crashes in which Verstappen would participate thanks to his emotions, and more importantly, can the FIA intervene to stop this?

I like how he complained of understeer all afternoon, then tried to brake late and out corner Hamilton on the inside.

Can the FIA do anything. Yes. Will they do anything. No.

Max is just an example of how F1 used to be. I think people are forgetting the intense rivalries and intense racing that we had during the Senna/Prost era, Schumaker and everyone, but especially Villeneuve, Hamilton and Rosberg. For too many years one team or another has had a car so much better than the others that there hasn't been much reall racing in years. Red Bull, then Mercedes and now Red Bull again. Those were boring years to watch. DRS made that worse as all you had to do was drive by people on the straight. Now the cars have gotten closer together and that makes the racing more competitive. THis is what racing it supposed to be. The majority of these collisions are just racing drivers trying to pass the person in front by outbraking them and going for a small gap. This is was F1 used to be and it was great. I hope that it continues as it is exciting to watch. There is a difference between a calculated risk and an outright dangerous move. Most of what we see are calculated risks and this is good racing.

Verstappen’s idea of what’s legal and what’s not legal in the car is wildly different to everybody else’s
  • Max should concentrate on his driving and encouraging the engineers. They're a team. Everyone has a part to play.

Racing is always about the control of your emotions. Some days you have a perfect car, some days not, a true champion makes the most of what their equipment will delivery on Sunday. They do so without be a dick.

FÍA bent over backwards to not find Max at fault in the statement
  • @colinmiller8361
Hamilton was turning to the right, but only to get round a right hand corner. Was he supposed to carry on in a straight line? Grow up Max!!!!!!

Max has an attitude problem when he's not winning. It's like a kid overturning the board on losing. He needs to become more proffesional
  • @me2ontube
Watched it twice n missed RB statement both times 🤔
  • This is like the Max we know , all smiles when he’s winning and bullying everyone on the track , when things don’t go his way he’s like a spoiled little bart and we see the real Max as he really is.

Poor max, his car is no longer 2 seconds faster than everyone elses. He needs to use his race craft.
  • @WRXJIM
"A champion of his caliber" LOL. I almost spat my coffee out at that Hilarity.
  • @maccis62
Verstappen has never wanted or was able to deal with a competitive teammate. It is his insecurity and immaturity, nothing has changed or will change/
  • @Rubded
You can tell the FIA that's the way we are going to race... Bro, you already race like that... A lot worse! Crazy
  • @JohnnyRotten75
Verstappen literally nose dived into the corner. Used to like him but has become such a diva along with his father, they are becoming toxic. He could have probably gotten a podium with a little patience, but has a lot of growing up to do
