The Incredible MCU That Time Forgot | IGN Inside Stories

The mini-doc features the Hulk himself, Lou Ferrigno, along with Eric Allan Kramer who played Thor, the original Daredevil Rex Smith, Elizabeth Gracen whose spy Jasmin was for all intents and purposes Black Widow, and writer Gerald Di Pego, who scripted two of the three films. The cast and crew talk about the original series, coming back with The Return of the Incredible Hulk, and riding that success through The Trial of The Incredible Hulk before wrapping up the trilogy with The Death of The Incredible Hulk.
While the modern Avengers have grown from “I am Iron Man” to the snap in Infinity War, to Endgame and beyond on Disney+, some of the groundwork had been laid over 40 years ago with David Banner and his alter ego the Hulk.

As a comic book reading kid in the 80's this was awesome, really. People shitting on it in the comments need to understand that we didn't even dream that someday we would have comic book movies like we have today. At the time we had nothing, so to see Hulk and Daredevil together in a movie was just insane.

Bill Bixby always leaving town alone to that piano theme still gives me chills.
-
Great, well-made tribute. Marvel fans of that era remember the sheer excitement of seeing Hulk and Thor on-screen together for the first time.
-
So we almost had an actor that played both Batman and Daredevil before Ben Affleck. It's weird that it almost happened twice.
-
This is incredible! More of this please.
-
Very well done, but one thing you failed to mention: Kenneth Johnson said in an interview that, if CBS hadn't cancelled TIH series, they had planned on doing an episode where David had to give his sister (Diana Muldaur) a transfusion to save her life, thus introducing 'She-Hulk' to the show.

This is probably the best content I've ever seen from IGN. Fantastic!
-
Wish Bill Bixby had lived long enough to see the MCU as it is today. 🙏
-
Bill Bixby was clearly a legend.
-
This was highly engagingly. Should be part of an MCU documentary in future.
-
Lou Ferrigno is the best natural Hulk, without CGI
-
Incredible Hulk, Spiderman and his Amazing friends, and these films are my first memories of Marvel.
-
Damn even thinking about MCU without the graphics is a different vibe
-
That daredevil looked actually really cool ngl
-
So, are you telling me that there was a plan for Smart Hulk to appear on TV way back in 90s?
-
Bixby was ahead of his time
-
Damn, that was an amazing tribute video. Props to everyone that worked on this.
-
What marvel could do now is bring this characters such as this hulk to MCU'S hulk in the multiverse as world war hulk. And Thor meeting this old Thor. Would be so cool.🔥
-
1977 - Thor and hulk fighting in the same movie!!! 2017 - Thor Ragnarok
-
Incredible video, from the interviews, phase parts, to the ending credits. Excellent work IGN.
