I'm a freak. I have a hitchhikers thumb and I'm colourblind. Protect me, I am the promise of the future.

Fun fact: I filmed the a-roll of this episode with a 103 degree fever, as was unfortunately the case with about half the episodes this season. The bloopers are pretty much just me throwing up off camera.

A special thanks to all our patrons who held strong throughout the break.

Good to know you can post videos in your afterlife

You can tell from her "Meat is Murder" t-shirt she was a plant eater.

I'm in pure awe. The narration is so, so good. It would take many words to describe just how much I liked this episode and why. Thank you.
  • @Zane-gi2ge
Camera work still looks great, nice job

Years ago when I subscribed to the youtube channel of an astronaut, I never expected this same channel to turn into one of the very gems of youtube. These last months I haven't had the time to watch a lot of videos and I am now going back to your videos I have missed, and I am just in awe at the quality and poetry of them. Not only do we learn by watching your videos, we are also deeply touched by the narration, carried away by your storytelling until at the end, when the video stops, we are left daydreaming, thinking about the subject, and to see it from a different eye. Thank you for this. It is truly rare earth.

I didn't even notice anything about the camera work until I read about you filming at the end. If the following videos are of similar quality then that's just fine with me. Even if there was a noticable drop in visual quality (which there wasn't) I'd still be just as interested because I watch to hear your thoughts and brilliant narration. Keep it up; you're doing the kinds of things I wish I could.

Finally, someone makes a video about strength in diversity! You've put my exact thoughts into words. I truly believe this is the secret to humanity's success. Also, if that's your filming, it's not too bad after all.
  • @seasong7655
Honestly the video quality doesn't look so bad
  • didn't realize how much I missed the series until now that it's back. Excited to see what's coming.

Damn, that is the best explanation of why humans evolved from apes. I have never heard this

""With a greater brain came a greater being. With this brain these animals were now able to talk to each other; they were able to teach each other invisible concepts. And as they got smarter and more capable, they began to look at the animals around them. With abstract thinking they could see the living as dead. And what's more, they could see how they could cause that death." I just love that quote. :D

Nice to see your back from doing hard time in a Guatemalan prison. Looks like that shank I sent you in the birthday cake actually worked! Shawshank be damned.
