Time skips are a trope in Battle Shonen, but most only have one notable timeskip if any at all. However, the grandfather of modern Battle Shonen - Dragon Ball - has a ton of time skips and some very important events happen in them. Time Skips are in every series, from Dragon Ball to Dragon Ball Z and even Dragon Ball Super. Not mention most arcs like the Saiyan Saga, Cell Saga, Buu Saga.
Like the very first time skip which is often overlooked. In the second arc of the entire series we have an 8 month time skip. This time skip contains Goku and Krillin doing the training regimen provided by Master Roshi. They focus on increasing their muscles and endurance since Roshi thinks the two will find their own unique fighting styles. Meanwhile, Yamcha is training in West City in preparation for the Strongest Under the Heavens Tournament as well, and he even gets a haircut! These time skips only get longer from here though.

Vegeta's home for most of the time skip training for the Androids was a cliff where he stood and begged the universe to make him a Super Saiyan.

I would love to see an "if Vegeta trained Gohan after the Cell Saga". Wonder what impact it would've had later on?

Homeless Vegeta >>>>

That whole "it's his dream, not Chichi's" thing; the kid is 4 years old, his "dream" is what his mother has been drilling into his head since he was born.

It'd be amazing if we just cut to tenshinhan's house one day and launch was there, and they'd been secretly married this entire time
-
Akira Toriyama made so many time-skips in Dragon Ball he is making Hit blush.
-
You forgot that the mystic water was actually just tap water and getting it from korin was the training that makes you stronger.

It's funny to think back when DB was actually being published in the 80s, shounen manga editors tended to be really ADVERSE to timeskips; supposedly some rationale it'd alienate viewers if the main character (esp one around the same age as the reader) was suddenly much older. Toriyama big skips in DB were handwaved as Goku's body needing to be taller and longer since the fighting because such a big part of the comic. But apparently Z made em really nervous until it proved itself.

5:00 Itās wrong to compare Whis to the others, since his students didnāt surpass him, while Muten Roshiās, Korinās and Kamiās did.
-
Itās so odd hearing someone use āthe strongest under the Heavenā instead of āthe world martial arts tournamentā but my god is it such a BADASS NAME

8:53 Vegeta may be living in the gravity room full time during the this timeskip. It is modeled after the ship Goku used to travel to Namek. This is funny because he was effectively living in a space ready RV.

I know few things dbz didn't show that would've been awesome to see 1.goku achieving ss2 , 2. Vegeta achieving ss2 , 3. Goku achieving ss3 , 4. Vegeta achieving ssg , we saw them in these forms but never got to see how they got them each happening in time skips šš¤

its funny how Dragon Ball Z starts with Raditz then Dragon Ball Super starting with goku as a radish farmer

6:02 I was not expecting him to use history there haha

4:55 The way I see it, Carthu, Kami and Roshi both had the mindset that their guided training only worked so far in a controlled environment. Having Goku, Krillin, Yamcha, Tenshinhan and Chiaotzu wander the world was intended to put them in positions where they could not only broaden their horizons by meeting other people, but as some filler show, actually honing their training in practical situations. Iirc, there was a filler episode where Krillin, Yamcha and Tenshinhan used their training to save a village from a volcanic eruption. Something along those lines. Whis even touches upon this when he explains to Goku that he needs to "find his own Ultra Instinct", Whis's training can only do so much if Goku is specifically emulating him.

Yamcha fell on a sharp rock when falling off a cliff

The "Yo Son Goku" Special is definetly canon. The 1st time Tarble (Vegeta's Brother) becomes animated and seen on screen. Later to be mentioned in DB (Super) Battle of God's & The Broly Movie.

0:30 Roshi thinks that they will find their own unique fighting styles on their own Goku stealing every technique possible

8:53 I did an actual, real-life spit take lmaoooo
