  • A pro tip from my derm: make sure you are consuming the omega fatty acids, your healthy lipids, be it through fish or supplements, to improve the quality of the oil you produce.
  • Focusing on lowering the inflamation on my skin has been a game changer. Also adding a cleanser with Benson peroxide just helps so much to reduce the congestion on my cheeks!
  • You literally have mermaid hair 🧜‍♀️
  • This is so timely! I currently have two blemishes on my face in places I don't normally get them! I've actually started getting more clogged pores AFTER starting to take care of my skin. It's glowing and the texture is lot more smooth but I've had more blemishes in the past 2 months than I've had my entire life. Battling dry skin AND clogged pores is a feat!

I used to use bha religiously, but only after I switched to curilogy with Tret and azeleic acid have i finally seen a difference in my blackheads! Also moisturizing more in general has helped. I used to think that would clog my skin so I wasn’t doing enough. Your channel has honestly helped me so much!
  • I like to use emulsion to soften my skin while I'm bathing. It helps not only to soften the skin, also it's really a gentle way to loosen up the dirt and oil on my face! all you have to do is, after your oil cleanser you just apply thick layer of emulsion and let it sit for 10〜15minutes(the bathrooms steem will work as a steamer) and wash off with your normal facial cleanser(you can replace it with enzyme powder wash)
  • I want to try the Azelaic acid serum by Cos de Baha at some point- but I'm trying to cut down on how many products I purchase this ('cause I went BUCK WILD last year lol) so I may or may not get it to trying it this year. Either way excited for a new year filled with new products :)
  • @lavayuki
I love Azelaic acid, the Paulas choice one if my go to and have bought 3 times already. For cleanser I prefer balms, but I do like the Curel oil cleanser as it removes my waterproof makeup.
  • 5:19 Yay!! No coconut oils or other oils. It's super comedogenic for my skin and it's in everything.
  • I suffer from enlarged pores near my nose area. Using 2% salicylic acid helped a lot. Love your each and every upload❤
  • Great video Kelly! I’ve been on Finacea 15% for a month now. Stung like a b— for a week but my skin is used to it now. Currently going a terrible breakout period and my self esteem is in the dumps. Can’t sometimes look people in the eye for too long.. Feeling antisocial and generally like shit
  • Thanks Kelly this is so helpful. Also I'm so glad you mentioned the name change of the by wishtrend propolis serum, I couldn't find it at yesstyle last time I looked but it's there with the new name!
  • For those who prone to clogged pores from coconut oil, 5:54 Paula's Choice 10% Azelaic Acid Booster has Caprylic/Capric Triglyericide high up in the ingredients list. If they are going to charge as much, they should put a fatty acid or oil-based ingredient that is not pore clogging. There are so many oils out there that are non-comedogenic. Coconut is not one of them. "Caprylic triglyceride, or capric triglyceride, is a compound that combines fatty acids from natural oils, such as coconut oil, with glycerin."
  • I like to use Azeliac acid in the morning (a serum from face theory or Sam Bunting’s brightly serum) so that I’m not dependent on my compounded tret to get azeliac acid. I’ve seen a big difference in using it every morning since I can’t tolerate my tret every day. My tret also has some topical spironolactone, which has helped with oil production (which wasn’t helped by other products such as 5% niacinamide and other oil production decreasing ingredients). I know it’s a journey, but not having all that oil on my skin has definitely helped my skin feel more balanced and stop clogs from happening…
  • I tried the ordinarys but my skin did not get along with it :( I tried the peach slices one and o m g it’s amazing for me !! Thanks for the video Kelly !
  • @maryv9832
Great tips! You’ve helped me clear my skin so much! Prescription Azelaic acid along with your other tips have been game changing 😊
  • Love your hair and your plant babies!!! 🪴🪴🪴💚🤍🖤💚🤍🖤💚🤍🖤🍀🍀🍀
  • @neen42
I like the Cos de Baha azelaic acid - it has been great for redness for my dry, sensitive skin. Plus it usually is around $10-12.
  • Thanks Kelly! You're always so clear in your amazing explanations & descriptions :)
  • Hi Kelly. Love your videos. Thank you for the great content.
