They have been forgotten, it's not cool just like those young women in Iran & Afghanistan they are not forgotten..my hands are tied,and I'm powerless to help, which one do you think hurts the most??

Thats the tragedy of our current news cycle. Too much shit happening all the time! I feel guilty for forgetting about some desasters or conflicts, but there is just too much sadness and chaos around the world. I am totally overwhelmed by it and cant keep up with everything. And also, sometimes i have to block things out, to keep myself sane. But of course i sincerely wish all of those survivors that they get the help they need.

I mean, yeah it sucks, but I don’t have money to send and I can’t take 2 years off work to go help out. Our community had a terrible flood last year and we were lucky to be rebuilt in 3 months. Media coverage lasted 2 days. If we spend all our time worrying about issues we can’t control than we will never have time to address those we can.
