I can already see the amount of Undertale, and potentially the Thomas themes, using this instrument lol
  • i've always wanted to buy an omnichord and holy that metamodernity cover honestly just sealed the deal for me that was ethereal

Am I the only one who just loves this guys overly exaggerated facial expressions with every instrument he plays? His ears are also pretty unique too.

Fun video! Also you also got a very nice voice! I've never heard you sing before. You're a man of many talents! I'm very impressed

I've never heard of this instrument! Can't wait to learn about it

I've never thought that Omnichord was a old retro instrument and yet it was still useful. After you said that was used on Adventure Time, I was very impressed. I hope you can use it for your upcoming Soundtrack, Luke. And that music to try with the Omnichord is majestically beautiful.

The editing in this video is really sharp! It doesn't seem fair for one person to have this much talent
  • Dammit... It turns out instruments aren't your only expertise... You can sing too... I'm even deeper in love with you, luke!

dude no way, i have one of these!! omnichords are one of my favourite instruments, but they're so obscure. mine broke a year or two ago and i'm still bummed about it

Iā€™d never heard of this song before watching your video, and I find the different in instrumentation makes such a huge difference: the original sounds like a very modern synth pop song that uses mostly virtual instruments and plugins to synthesize a lo-fi aesthetic. Yours reminds me of the mid-auguts indie music that used actual lo-fi instruments (including analog or VERY early digital synths) to actually BE lo-fi. I guess what Iā€™m trying to say is yours is better. :P

Your voice is super sweet. I knew it would be pitch perfect, but what a nice gentle quality ā¤

"I wasn't expecting a package this large" Ahah that's what she said My therapist When I told her about my emotional troubles
  • ā€œToday, weā€™re gonna check out this Casual bicep flex omnichord here and make some fun music!ā€ (Joking aside it should be pretty awesome if it functions right!)

I don't know an Omnichord from an omnibus, but this cover was great, and your vocals are very soothing
  • I was kind of surprised that you sung it! Sounds amazing along with all of the instruments.
  • I really hope someone starts making omnichords again as they really are fascinating instruments, I love looking at contemporary and strange instruments that nowadays could be emulated, when you hear the emulation it sounds good, but when you hear the original it actually sounds way different, and I can't explain why.
  • This is so crazy interesting!! I'm totally in love with the sound the omnichord makes? It's got such an ethereal vibe! I've always wondered what instrument was used in the Adventure Time song "remember you" and now I know! and I really love your cover, the strings all sound so lovely, I'm always impressed with just how many instruments you can play and how great you make them all sound ^w^

Rebecca Sugar used the Omnichord a lot in writing music for Adventure Time and Steven Universe. I don't know if I am impressed that Sugar did that or unimpressed with how simple that instrument seems to be. Sugar does do some chord progressions not many musicians would think to do in their music so yeah.
