Weezer - Where Is My Mind? (Pixies cover) – Oakland, Live, 12-9-17, 1st row, Oracle Arena, Not So Silent Night 2017. Rivers Cuomo: We're touring next summer with The Pixies.. And in expectation of that wondrous event, we decided to learn a Pixies song.. So we're going to play it tonight.

Other Tidbits:

Rivers (before 'Undone'): My voice is kind of fu*ked up right now... I don't know if you can tell. So if you know the words to any of these jams... Help a brother out! lol

Coincidentally, The Pixies just played in Oakland 2 days previously at the Fox Theater! We went to that show too.. :P

Brandon Flowers of The Killers remarked later that night that he couldn't believe they were playing after Weezer :P

For me the Pixies wrote and played some of the most important songs of that generation, this being one of those songs. Weezer has the talent and this is a good version. Thumbs up.

I like when you're in the crowd and everyone's singing along but all I can hear is the ONE person and it's super irritating. These are 2 of my favorite bands. Hearing Weezers take on the song is really cool and I'm digging Rivers's vocals. I can see myself being this girl though. Just being happy to hear Weezer cover the pixies and singing along without even realizing I was being annoying as fuck. Anyway if you like Weezer & The Pixies then you probably like Nirvana. Weezer did an entire concert under the name Goat Punishment where they just did Nirvana covers and it's fucking great.
