Gregil lives in the sky, has red hair, and once was considered a hero? Who’s to say he’s not related to another heroic red-haired side character who happened to return to the sky after Skyward Sword?

'anyone can stand up and conquer evil so long as they have courage... and a hellish reincarnation cycle but mostly courage.'

I’m amazed how you can make content even tho there hasn’t been a Zelda game in three years. Goes to show how detailed Zelda is and also how good of a content creator u and other Zelda youtubers are. Can’t wait till Botw 2 because that’s when you’re at ur best with the most things to theorize and talk about.

I've played a link to the past like a hundred times and I never knew about that cucco turned into a woman, I always wondered why it was there lol

In the german version of BotW the horse god is called Malon. Well, I think we all know who that is...
  • @Mote.
Zelda series as a whole just gives me a warm comforting feeling.

I like to imagine that Cuccoos are an evolved version of Loftwings, which explains their might. They keep the heroes morals in check, all this time later!
  • Also, I never realised Fanadi's text ist just backwards: "what am I talking about"! 😂

“That doesn’t explain why she is a simple fortune teller in Castle Town, rather than serving the Royal Family in secret.” Well, I beg to differ! A visit or two from a royal messenger now and then, nobody is the wiser to the eccentric woman telling fortunes in just another street of the town. Quite incognito, that Fanadi.

I've actually felt in OoT that the Gerudo have their own path of the King so to speak. Kind of like how BotW has the path to being a hero, I feel each ruler had to go through their own trials in order to prove themselves worthy. The Gerudo Training Grounds would have been the beginning, then the desert, and finally the Spirit Temple. The Poe itself I feel was linked to the Gerudo as a guide to the most difficult challenge of all. Not just the Spirit Temple, but being able to get back on your own once you accomplished the trials. Perhaps it was a being like Koume and Kotake, but with less of its own identity. It's is merely a spirit guide in the empty desert with only one purpose. A sad life, but one necessary to help the Gerudo face the harsh world around them.

The horse god's odd movement and separated hands kinda reminds me of bongo bongo

I wouldn't be surprised if the wind tribe were descendants of a certain, older sky people, specifically a red-haired hero we all know and love... I also have a theory on Malanya. He seems to have strong connections to not only horses but Malon herself. Malanya's name in the japanese version is actually Maron, which is the japanese name for Malon. I like to imagine Malon was named after this horse god, as Epona's name actually comes from a celtic goddess of horses, so for Malon's name to come from an in-game horse deity seems like a cool idea.

I was today years old when I learned of the chicken transforming into the human in ALttP. I've played that game countless times and have never seen that before. That's wild!

Why does the Wind Tribe architecture kinda look like Zonai architecture?
  • I've played through Minish Cap soooo many times and didn't even know Gregal existed and by extension that the light arrows were even in the game. That's pretty well hidden.

One of the interesting things about the Oceanside Spiderhouse is that in the 3ds verson of Majora's Mask, there is a sheet with two large stone feet poking out of the bottom. It seems to be a statue but of who or what. Moving a camera into the sheet shows nothing past the legs so we may never know. My best guess is that it was a statue of the Ikana King but that's just a guess based on what I know about the game. What throws me off is that in that same room there is a coffin that looks like it came straight from Egypt, maybe a Spirit Temple connection?
  • I really hope the Wind tribe comes back in a modern Zelda game. Or anyone from Minish Cap, really.
  • I feel like no-one has acknowledged the fact that Zeltik is essentially the Vaati of Zelda lore. Edit: The Vaati I'm talking about is the Soulsborne Youtuber, not the Zelda character. I apologize for not being clear.
