People have to stop being in denial about global warming, the overwhelming majority of scientists are honest hard working people and they are trying to convey to the general public the seriousness of the climate situation. Climate science is very complex and while predictions for specific events are not exact the overall trends are and they are showing that we are warming up the planet and heat is simply energy. Energizing the atmosphere is making these weather events much more catastrophic and more frequent. My heart goes out to the people dealing with these weather events but denying what is causing them is just adding to the problem.

What a beautiful story about Cordell Tinch and his mom Elizabeth. Living in shelters isn't in any way at all, a pleasant feat and at sixteen years old. And, just as Cordell's mom overcame those hurdles so is he in succeeding in what he dreamed. A story that makes one proud.
