  • Hi Martin, I really appreciated your video on how to carry a phone while running. I agree that safety is a top priority, and having a phone with you is a smart idea. Your suggestions for different options were helpful and I also liked how you discussed the different scenarios where you might want to carry more or less with you, depending on the situation. Thanks for sharing your experiences and tips with us! I'm using right now an "naked" belt. Cheers!

I'm constantly washing my 2 pairs of Baleaf half tights with deep pockets at the sides to store my phone! Great ideas here Martin! Keep pushing my friend!

There are a lot of different options for carrying your phone. My favorite is around your waist where it's still visible to see the time and change music if needed. Love the video.
  • Great options and I definitely agree on the safety reasons for carrying the phone.
  • Great review as ever Martin. The shape art belt looks like a very helpful bit of kit! I have a couple of running belts and as well as phone storage, I have used them to “upgrade” my hydration vests on events so I have even easier access areas. Water or snacks or the phone.

Some great options there Martin. The Shapeheart belt looked cool but I am not sure I am confident enough to trust the magnet to not drop my phone though 😂 I use the compressport free belt pro to carry my phone 99% of the time. 😎🤘
  • Fantastic tips Martin! I have a slim stretchy running belt that I use when I don't have any pockets. Although mine doesn't have a fancy magnet like yours, I might have to upgrade now.

Hi Martin, thanks for sharing. I’ve had the same trouble. I’ve tried a few things. For my short runs (no water etc) i’ve been able to find an underwear. They have a pocket on each leg. Probably not a pocket that you’re thinking of. They’re tight against the outsides of my legs. The phone fits vertically. Then I wear a loose light shorts over top. I just had a quick look on Amazon. I think they’re called compression shorts. Anyway it works for me. Wayne 👍🏼
  • Timely, as I was recently mulling over how to carry my smartphone after doing an event that required me to carry my phone. It was a shorter ran so my running vest was overkill. And my phone is too big for my running shorts’ pockets. I do have an old fanny pack but again it’s bigger than required for simply a phone and I figured it would bounce too much. Like you, definitely not an armband fan. The best I came up with was the stretchy belt options.
  • Hi Martin, interesting magnetic solution. Is the magnet heavy? Does it move? You are a ninja of the review, with simplicity you explain all the features, and always coming with interesting gear! Keep running! 😊👍

Great tips Martin. I'm a big fan of a zip pocket so tend to go with an option that has this. Hadn't seen that belt before but looks like a great options for ease of use. Thanks for sharing

Good demo of the various options, and the new style belt. I have a magnetic phone holder in my car, which works really well. Being able to use the touch screen with the phone in its case is really handy. I've had a bit of trouble with similar cases when the rain gets on the screen cover but otherwise all good. I usually fit my phone into my zip pocket on my shorts, as it's a smallish phone thankfully but it gets sweaty in there 🤢
  • I use the Naked Belt. No shakes and very tight. Can carry multiple stuff too. Nice review buddy.
  • Martin, great video! I've never liked the arm phone carrier either. I have a waist sachet which I use and is pretty good. The magnetic carrier looks like a pretty cool option too!
  • @RunSensible
Solid advice, Martin. I'd only trust a pocket with a zip. I almost always run in a park which is only 4km in circumference, wjicj means I never ever have a phone with me. 😁
  • Cheers Martin. I have one pair of shorts that my phone fits in, but they are starting to get a bit knackered. Gonna look at the shapeheart kit, need to trust the magnet! Tried a “free train” vest a little while back, let’s say I’m not the right “shape”’for them 😂
