Okay Wookie and Trandoshan weapons engineering are equally terrifying. And effective in their own right.

Nothing like playing Republic Commando, picking up a trandoshian mini gun, and going to town on everything in your way. Good times.

I get blasters are the main thing for Star Wars but I really wouldn't mind seeing more slug throwers in later titles. Something like the large coil and rail weapons of Halo could probably fit somewhere in the universe.

The array gun was so much fun to use in Republic Commando. That first part of the Acclimator level where you just run around killing Trandoshans was so much fun to do with the array gun. Also, y’all forgot to mention the Relby V10, utilized by Bossk and pictured in like half the artwork shown.

This would be a great series!! Trandoshans vs Wookies! Make it happen boys!
  • @sciathoir
No way they took a spas-12 rotated the barrel 90 degrees and said “fuck yeah this is awesome” god bless you Star Wars

The Separatists: flimsy and cheap E-5 blasters which are often used by clones in a few episodes Also Separatists: their allies had some of the most unique weapons in "Star Wars"

Is it just my imagination, or does the Trandoshan hunting rifle look like someone stuck the squeeze-trigger and frame from a gas nozzle under the stock? 🤔
  • @robertagu5533
Imagine having to have specialized an specially made weapons must've been hell on some of them when felt the need to find a good SW equivalent to blade an/or gunsmith... Imagine THAT space "forged in fire" alternate reality episode....

I always loved to steal a concussion rifle from the Trandoshans in Dark Forces 2. And it was fun in multi-player too, because it couldn't be blocked by a lightsaber.

Great job!!👍 I definitely learned more than I thought that I already knew for sure. I couldn't help but notice that perhaps you left one weapon out. Bossk and his Relby-v10 Mortar Gun. Is that because it was pretty much specific to Bossk? I'm only asking, I don't mean to be negative in any way. Thanks for your hard work!

I hate how Trandoshans are voiced these days. In Empire Strikes Back and Republic Comando, they actually sound like reptiles struggling to form human words. Now they just sound like Peter Lorre imitations.

If they ever got along trandosians and Wookiee working together would make a devastating military force
  • Lasers and plasma may be more lethal and give off more long-lasting damage (contrary to how cartoons treat them as "kid-friendly firearms"), you gotta admit that slugthrowers/bullet guns have a far more, hmm, shoulder-deep charm and feel even as their users reach beyond the stars, if not harness energy like mana, ki, chi, leylines, and so on. Then again, that's prolly because lasers can't seem to fit in the abnormal gunslinger mantras of, say, Vash the Stampede and two witches by the name of Akemi and Tomoe.

We all hate these lizards, but their ingenuity is to be respected.
  • @TheAntiburglar
Trandoshans are jerks, but damn if that blaster Bossk used isn't cool as hell
  • @ilnigromante666
The pic at 2:10 is of a barabel. A race that makes the trandoshans look like puny geckos.
  • @darthsilversith667
Mmm.. OP predator vision, even more OP single shot Relby rifle with micro grenade launcher and toxic fart grenades.. PLUS more health back with each kill!?! The scorekeeper honors Bossk greatly!
