Not a commentator generally but that has to be one of the best interviews I've ever seen. Emily and James are absolutely some of the best journalists in the UK today together with Jon Sopel, Lewis Goodall, Andrew Marr. Keep asking those hard questions guys. Some sane journalism in a world of clowns.

Two journalists who have held and still hold the line. Thanks for highlighting and reminding us of the horrendous decline of government and democratic systems and institutions. Thank you for holding the perpetrators to account. Labour must do this when they get in power.

I recently got into LBC due to all the mad stuff happening in UK politics. You guys keep me sane with your calm and rational breaking down of news stories, and of course the brilliant contribution from the public who call in.

“I just really have a problem with people who make everything worse for everybody else in order to make things temporarily better for themselves.” Thank you for a forensically-researched and beautifully written book!

Back when the official opposition was really satirists, one of the producers of Spitting Image was confronted by Kelvin Mackenzie. «Sun readers hate your show, you're disrespecting them», or something along those lines. Spitting Image producer replied: «You've got a piddling circulation of three million, I get 12 million tuning in. Why should I listen to you?».

Audience should be happy and grateful that such a voice (James O'brien) is available with his bright mind and fabulous contribution on air on daily basis.

Refreshing to listen and comforting to hear that there are journalists who can state how it is rather than spinning todays ‘story’. Wish more people would listen to this. Need to get the book to read!
  • What a clever and candid interview. Well done James......and Emily.....its about time we had a book that actually tells us as it is and nothing held back.....its about time some of these self serving politicians were held to account.

That was one stupendous interview! Two top-level journalists, driven by morals & truth, and exposing the lack of either by top politicians & business people driving public life. Think I'm going to have to order that book...

So much like the situation with Trump.

I have the Audible version. It really IS A RANT! But rightly so. He is correct in his assessment and he doesn’t pull punches!

A fantastic interview by two very excellent journalists. I forgot some of the things they've raised and it's refreshing to see and hear there are people who still hold people to account and can do so in a professional and calm manner. This is the kind of interviews that should reach TV and mainstream media.

Great interview two of my favourite political commentators thoroughly enjoyed it. I was stopped from buying James's book and told I had to wait till Christmas day to read it, least I know it's not socks again.

You've done your nation an incredible service sir. 'Cometh the hour, Cometh the man'. This deed is on par with Sir Kier trapping bojo in his lies and dispatching him. Thank you Mr O'brien!!
  • @shindy444
James it's a shame you're not in politics, you will have my vote a many others.
  • @johnthompson16
