  • Here it is! Our follow-up to the dark side Orders that rivaled the Sith, this time looking at eight light side Orders that rivaled the Jedi. This video was highly requested recently, so I hope that you all enjoy it! Oh, and only ONE WEEK until Thrawn: Alliances! :)
  • The fact that the Jedi sought to eradicate even other LIGHT SIDE sects makes them even more dubious. No wonder Ahsoka Tano left.
  • "From my point of view the jedi are evil" - Every force sensitive who doesn't want to become a jedi.
  • The more I hear about the jedi order in general the more I'm starting to believe the force LET order 66 happen to re-balance the galaxy from the jedi's dogmatic views.
  • It truly is a shame that the Zeison Sha, the Matukai, and Jensaarai never got further development in the novels or comics. It would have been cool to see these groups fight the Vong or Krayt's Sith in the Legacy era.
  • I love that many force societies existed. I loved Jacens and Luke’s exploration of those societies.
  • The Aing-Tii are easily my favorite group of those eight. There is just something extremely cool about powers involving time and space. The Matukai would be number two on my list because they are an order that isn't interested in only those with a strong connection to the Force, but is also open to weaker Force-users. It's very much an organization that supports hard work.
  • I am just finding out about all these star wars books and comic books and now I want to read everything!!!
  • @ajl1218
Twice the pride double the fall?
  • So basically the philosophy of the Jedi was: Either you’re a Jedi, obey us or you are a threat to be eliminated. You’re with us or you’re against us.
  • Of these my favorite are the Zeison Sha. They used chakram weapons made of materials capable of withstanding lightsabers and cutting through virtually anything as their primary weapons and concentrated on the telekinetic powers possible through the force. They used these abilities to control the chakram, often fighting with multiples of the weapons.
  • Luke was right in The Last Jedi. The Jedi were arrogant in believing that they should be the sole guardians of the force.
  • There are three additional sects to add to this list. The Altisian Jedi, the Teepo Paladins and an offshoot of them, the Gray Paladins.
  • “Lighside groups that competed with the jedi” 1st group - always supported the jedi -.-
  • The Matukai and Baran Do Sages are two of my favourites on this list
  • "Supernova" sounds more like a cover up for Thought Bombs being sent by the Jedi to destroy these rival orders... Yes, even in the world of Science Fiction I am a conspiracy theorist.
  • Sith Lord: Commits galaxy-wide atrocities to gain power from mass suffering. Edgelords: But but but the Jedi can be too dogmatic sometimes! Obviously they're the real bad guys!
