Central Queensland graziers Paul Johnston and Moreen Levin leapt at the chance to help re-home Kosciuszko National Park brumbies and established a brumby rescue organisation at Thangool, 150 kilometres south of Rockhampton.

With the help of volunteers, the couple care for and re-locate the animals to properties throughout Australia to give them a new lease on life. They hope their clinic will help change public perceptions and inspire others to give these animals a fighting chance.

  • I purchased my 2 brumbies from Clearview, these guys, such a blessing to be part of saving the brumbies.

Love, love, love what you are doing, especially now with the major trapping of the brumbies. I've been following Snowy Brumby Photographers Ian and Michelle and are just so proud of what you guys and other rehomers are doing. Thank you so much from Western Australia.

this is my dream but i am 9 years old .
  • Too bad the unhinged sending firebombing threatd think cull when rescuers try to do this. I live down the road from three rescued (two rehomed, one orphaned who was not expected to survive) and even their rehomer gets threats.
