  • That lady who declined to go on the date with that dating game killer had some good instincts. Very blessed lady.

Those sounds played in Vietnam were terrifying - I can't imagine what it's like for survivors.
  • @kamsismith
The well-known picture of Selena looking down with Yolanda Saldivar with a mic in her hand at an event never fails to send me chills.
  • @HawaiiBlack
The Jonestown tapes are the saddest recordings I have ever heard. So many babies and children were lost. Many people did not want to die and were forced to drink the cyanide or were injected. Just horrible!

There's nothing 'normal' about that picture of Chris McCandless. He's obviously dying in that pic. 😢
  • I went to school with Chalino Sanchez's son Adan Sanchez who followed in his father's footsteps becoming a successful singer. Unfortunately he passed away in 2004 at the age of 19 in a mysterious car accident while touring in Mexico.

I have a friend from college who actually fell into the Niagara falls river, but was rescued right before she would have gone over them.
  • @ZeXiOn26
that basketball-card one is insane though - I wonder what it's done for collectible-value
  • @CynnerDeville
My husband lost his aunt, uncle and two cousins on Korean Air Flight 007. Terrible tragedy and a lot of speculation surrounding it.
  • @SokMunkie
Gyspy Rose was released at the end of the year. She was also 23, not 20.

0:25- YouTube really needs to come up with some better adjectives for serial killers. It’s always something like “most prolific serial killer”, “most deadly”, most infamous”, etc. for every serial killer in existence.
  • @donnakenny3974
Only channel discussing the scary in which i dont feel totally afraid to fall asleep to & yet get just as much informed
  • @lunarose698
The Chris Watts Case still makes me upset. That police body cam footage that was filmed the day of the murders stuck with me. Even his neighbor knew that something wasn't right with him. Not to mention there was the commercial with oil and an ultrasound of an unborn baby on the tv behind him.

1:44 my uncle has been struck by lightning twice. The first time he was closing his car door (a 68 Chevy Camaro) and the only thing that happened was he got a bloody nose and his eyes had those red burst blood vessels and he had a migraine for a week. The second time he got blown about 150 feet out of his shoes (which melted to the asphalt), broke his wrists and ankles, was bleeding from every orifice as ell as under his finger and toenails and his eyes. He suffered a mild heart attack and couldn’t hear for a while, now he has tinnitus. At least he’s alive….
  • @vampyr69
The guy in the thumbnail looks like evil Bilbo asking to see his 'old ring'.
  • @g8tc712
The guy that murdered his family got me. He does not one bit look like he was capable of following through with something so heavy.

Not to ruin the fun vibrator story but the person who first published that story about how they were invented to treat hysteria made the whole thing up and the only sources she cited were well, herself. More recent research shows they were indeed invented by victorian doctors, however they were meant to treat several ailments primarily among men, and the only sex-related use of them medically speaking was for male impotence. Much less entertaining a story but still pretty important to debunk misinformation
