Just to clarify...a Navy Seal...is not a tier 1 operator. They're on the same level as a green beret...and army ranger. All of these units do have Tier 1 level operators. For the seals that is DEVGRU. Aka development group. For the army special forces community there's Delta force and the rangers do have a Tier 1 unit known as the regimental reconnaissance company (which our current specgru rangers 1234 are all apart of)

TBH I feel Delta would more likely to be involved with 141 like in the original trilogy.
  • @frostburn3736
I feel you Brother. We need more US topping on this cake. I mean, where are Griggs, Sandman, Frost, Vasquez... and don't make me remind about Ramirez. That guy basicly is the foundation of United States military might, he does EVERYTHING and PERFECTLY.

So TF 141 is based off the real world TF 145 which was an international unit consisting of Delta force, U.S. Army Green Berets, US Army Rangers, UK Special Air service, UK special Boat service, US Navy seals, US 160th SR the Nightstalkers, FBI, CIA, MI5, MI6 and the Defense intelligence Agency, US Air Force special tactics and reconnaissance squadrons

I’m kinda burnt out on Seal media TBH. Bring back the OG 75 Rangers, Delta should’ve been down in Mexico instead of Ghost & Soap since it was suggested that they were involved with El Chapo! Introduce MARSOC??
  • @OperatorJackYT
Is it just me or is the first mission in MW19 the only one where MARSOC (Marine special forces) we're actually depicted in call of duty?
  • In MW2 2009 Task Force 141 was a multi national team of American, British, Australian and Canadian special forces with at least 80 members. It was never just Soap, Roach, Ghost and Price. There were always other operators, sometimes they’d be the same name every time (Royce, Meat, Rook, Archer, Toad, Scarecrow, Ozone, Worm) or it would pull a random one from the list of names (Midnight, Jester, Rocket, etc.) I don’t know the exact military terms but it went from 80 guys (a platoon??) to 4 (a squad?) They could use characters we already know and just say “they were pulled from Marine Force Recon/Army Rangers/Delta and are in the 141 now” Give us Vasquez, Jackson, Griggs, Foley, Dunn, Ramirez, Allen, Frost, Grinch, Truck and Sandman and say they’re in the 141. Price’s squad can operate in one location, Vasquez in another. Mix them up a bit too if you want. But the idea that these 4 British guys are running ops around the globe single handedly is insane when the original task force was a huge joint op and you understood you weren’t just a one man wrecking ball. You’re one of the best of the best, but you still need your team to operate
  • I think incorporating more Americans in general would be a good thing. We've seen some marines in the modern trilogy, but in the original MW trilogy, we got marines, Rangers and Delta. Not having any seals in MW seems like a huge oversight.
  • @tainozoku
Delta or Rangers should've been down in Mexico instead of the brits

We Used to Play as American Soldiers in the OG Games man C'mon! I Was Born in Texas and i Loved The OG MW Games the Balance of American, Russian and British Soldiers was Perfect, and Seeing How the new MW Operates Now Makes Concerned for It's Future, If Only they Kept the OG Ways of Doin' Missions Man, These "Open Combat Missions" Aka Minecraft Creative Mode but With Guns ain't It Man, We Really Need the OG Ways of Mission Makin' Or The New MWs are Cooked Like Obsidian.
  • @unknowncomrade5023
They are also on the hunt to get valeria, but so far, their unsuccessful
  • Funny how not even Delta is present, let alone SEALs. OGs were a lot better in incorporating real life SFs into the story, SEALs would work with 141 in securing an oil rig, Deltas sacrifices themselves to stop the third world war. One of the mistakes they made in writing the 141 in the reboot is that they wrote as if 141 are solo action heroes, this is apparent in MWIII in an open combat mission where only 4 guys are deployed to raid an entire nuke facility in broad daylight mind you, that's just... I'm sorry, but we needed around a couple stacks of SAS just to clear a single house, this was the realism that this new series established in 2019, it went down the drain in 2023.
  • @rafaelalodio5116
The Seals also showed up in the original MW2, they help 141 to rescue Price on the Gulag, and they were also on the previous mission on the oil rig.
  • @Sun-Warrior1911
It’s obvious that they are afraid to take risks with their storytelling. They’ve played it safe from the beginning only introducing the OG fan favorite characters which happened to be mostly SAS operators.
  • @Foxster_13
As a Brit, I didn't even think about stuff like this. But in terms of writing, it could be either that the writers want to focus on the current characters, which happen to be mostly British rather than American, or the other reason could be that the writers are worried about being compared to TV shows about Seals and focus on other special forces like the SAS as I can only really think of one show that covers the SAS which is from the early 2000s called Ultimate Force, that's actually a pretty good show to be honest and has a lot of themes that usually don't get covered in that era of Television. But the writers could then maybe focus on other US based operators, Delta Force perhaps. But I will say that they do kind of use US forces, but for some reason, that being the Marines, which I've got nothing against, but the mission in MW2 where you first go to capture Hassan, I'm pretty sure its the Marines who are with you, hell, in the first mission of MW2019, I think its Marines there who infil with Alex rather than Seals or any other special forces.
  • @AbdenourMahmoud
A lot of characters from Seal Team in call of duty : - Raul Menendez actor was in that episode when they killed that cartel leader in Mexico - Hassan Ziyani actor was in an episode when Ray got captured - Jason French voice actor in seasons 5 .6 is captain Price French voice actor - there's some sort of a reference to seal team in mw2 and 3 [ in season 5 and all bravo members have ops core hearing protection on their helmets Jason was the only one to keep his m3 meanwhile in mw it's the contrary Captain Price is the only one to use ops core hearing protection ]
  • As a soldier myself I never understood why Americans intelligence agents would be using a foreign nation soldiers for direct action
  • @Nighthawk-YT
YOOOO I JUST STARTED SEAL TEAM A MONTH AGO. It's sooo good 100% recommend it
  • @rdf4315
I think that's one of the things that annoys me the most about call of duty is that they never put in our America special forces which are the best in the world and it is not even close, not even with the SAS or SBS, and as for the best of the best of everything I've been hearing from all the special forces operators, the best of the best is Delta Force, devgru, and then Green berets, and then RRC rangers, and then Navy seals and then Marine raiders, etc but it would be nice to see them all finally put in a cod game.
