The new British home secretary is young, dynamic and Indian-origin. But why is she so highly criticised?

Pratel is one of the most unpleasant characters ever to call itself a 'public servant' - and there are lots of unpleasant characters to choose from in that regard.

The immigration system she drew up is such a joke to what she said in the leave campaign

Imagine coming from an immigrant family and also wanting no immigration

Peak Gujarati behavior where they move to a new place, make the best use of socialist reforms there, benefit economically, take power positions and call for the removal of all benefits to newer immigrants so that the new folks never get a chance to reach power positions.

I couldn't care less about ethnicity, sex, age, sexuality or religion of leaders- just their ability to do the job. This one and her boss aren't fit for the job.

Patel said that Rwanda is a wonderful country for refugees but still her parents travelled thousands of miles to reach Britain instead of just crossing the border and entering such wonderful country! Hypocrisy is at its best.

As a British person of colour this person makes my skin crawl 😣😩
  • This is the politician who is delighted to have brought freedom of movement to an end thus depriving our young people of the life enhancing benefits of getting to know other young Europeans. A truly nasty politician an isolationist xenophobic individual.

It makes sense. This will benefit Indian immigration. She is not against immigration, only against European immigration.

Three years on, the British Home Secretary has acquired a track record of bullying staff and colleagues. Her top civil servant was among those to resign and then lodge a claim for constructive dismissal because of her arrogant, disrespectful and aggressive nature. Frankly laughable for Patel to say that Thatcher inspired her to enter politics:: She's less than half as bright, barely half as coherent and it seems she lacksThatcher's normal human capacity for empathy and respect. Johnson is bad enough; God help Britain if Patel is ever elected Conservative Party leader.

She’s highly intelligent, but lacks empathy and emotional intelligence. Her standard expression of an arrogant smirk doesn’t endear her, although this may be an unfair criticism. She will either learn the importance of delegation and respect for her subordinates as a minister, or will have a short career.

Not someone really to be proud of with her murky past. The real bosses are keeping their puppet in power.

We owe a lot to the Indians, who taught us how to count, without which no worthwhile scientific discovery could have been made."
  • Indians (Indian ethical background) are educated and always do good in UK, good choice UK

Who was Priti Patel meeting in Israel? This still hasn’t been answered.

Britain is a lovely egalitarian country. However, people who hold important goverrnment positions should not be given unchecked power. Otherwise, this great country would be like any third world country.
