BEAUTIFUL SONG

I remember back when I was in 8th grade (my repeat year so...I was like 15) and I was in the school choir. The Christmas Concert we did, I specifically was asked to do a solo piece of my choice. I chose this song. According to multiple sources, my performance was one of the best of the night...yet I barely remember it because I had a petite-maul seizure right before the bridge. While I apparently hit the correct notes and ended on a mezzo-soprano, I came to when I heard the stunned applause. I was dizzy and confused, but I held it together and bowed like the professional I am. No one knew I had a seizure except my Auntie and big sister, who were in the audience and could tell something was wrong.

Omg this brings me back to my early adulthood/heading out of my teenage years. Still my favorite version!
